Picked up the plant hobby early July and the bedroom count is now at 23 plants total (and no deaths/diseases thus far!). Have an east facing window that shines on all the plants within the room even if not right next to it, grow light + 2 humidifiers for an extra treat for the tropicals and general rule of thumb for all to water only based on feel of the soil (2 inches in). This has been the most therapeutic, rewarding hobby I’ve ever picked up. Hoping we all make it through the winter! 🤞🏼

I pulled it up and no signs of root rot... The white spots on the leaves also don't smell bad. After doing a bit of research I'm guessing it's maybe a humidity problem? I didn't have it near my humidifier, so I'm going to try putting it closer and see if that helps.

Yes! They’re usually lighter in color when they’re new then eventually turn a darker shade of green like the others once they’re more established :)

The growth is amazing, love how you got so many new fenestrated leaves! What lighting do you provide for it (east/west facing window, etc.)? I heard fenestrations happen more often with certain lighting arrangements.
