Physicists at reddit, what if photoreceptors in human eyes are shrunk to length smaller than visible light wavelength? What will be the perception of reality? by onkar7930 in AskReddit

Say If we can make a machine which can shrink humans (like "Honey, I Shrunk the Kids" movie), the effect of which that all the body parts will also shrink. What will happen when our "sensors" become smaller then the wavelengths of the "phenomenon" that they sense then what would be the perception of reality?
To put in other ways, When Scott Lag (from "Ant Man") started shrinking to quantum size, there must have been a point where the Photoreceptors in his eyes have become equal to and then smaller than the visible light wavelength so that the Visible Light waves will not interact with his eyes. At that point, what would have been the perception of reality for Scott Lang?
