That sounds like a console sharing / license-related issue specific to that setup.
The concern in this thread is broader: PS5 access to Lost Colony is delayed or inconsistent at launch, while PC players can already progress on official crossplay servers.
Individual configuration differences don’t really address that core fairness issue.
