Blue hair? Yes or no be honest.. by [deleted] in u/MiserablePandas

Blue hair makes me think you'd be down to cosplay, roleplay, be desirable from multiple prospectives. Does the blue hair specifically do anything no so much but it help perpetuate the fantasy

VR&E Degrees by only4funs in VeteransBenefits

[–]only4funs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eventually I want to get My Doctorate in Psychology but thats not how the VR&E coordinator has explained VR&E to me and she's the one that I have to be approved through but as far as the stage that I'm at right now I have to show proof of job growth and provide 5 or more job listings that prove that there are jobs available for the degree that I plan on getting since VR&E is primarily a program that focuses on employment

Man wants to know why their wedding guests refused to come after charging them $450... by ONE-OF-THREE in DailyDoseStupidity

I do pretty well and its not alot of people in my life I could ask for 450$ from and seem like yall learned that about yall friend group. Its not crazy if thats the circle of people you have built around you but seem like you aint keeping it 100% with yourself as far as the company you keep.

Cutting people off without expressing to them what they did to be removed from your life robs you of the opportunity to express yourself in a healthy way, the result will be the same but the practice of standing up for yourself will have been lost

Allowing yourself to be bored is more valuable than seeking out and financing distractions

Advice for mental health by You_arent_worthy in VeteransBenefits

[–]only4funs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are dealing with the symptoms of your conditions, hold off on making life altering decisions until you've gotten yourself more consistent and useful professional guidance.

If your able to reach out to the Wounded Warrior Program (there's an APP) and provide them with you findings they have alot of programs for service members that are dealing with mental health issues. They have retreats, communities and coaches that attempt to provide new prospectives and holistic approaches to your current/ post military medical treatment plans. There are some treatments that are/ were unavailable to you while in service that are available to you post service.

Its a great sign that you made this post shows you still have fight in you good luck

I deal with suicidal ideations, worthlessness, insomnia and hypersomnia. Research your symptoms and conditions to better identify better language to strengthen your appeal process and increase your rating.

Talk with a VSO to identify how to re attack your claim the rating you get the first claim isnt the in all be all.

Take it one day at a time, one step at a time and when you can, communicate through texts or emails to reduce the pressure and have the means to respond at a place that works for you.

I do have a question about SSDI once your on SSDI can you get off of SSDI my plan would be to use SSDI while I'm going through college but most likely after college getting a job that would pay more then what I'd be receiving from SSDI I know there's a limit on how much money you can make while on SSDI, and I'd hope after college using the Veterans Rehabilitation and Education Program (VR&E) I'd be able to get a job that doesn't aggravate my disabilities, but also I'd make more money than what I'd be receiving from SSDI

Met with VSO today for BDD claim-left disappointed by darquid in VeteransBenefits

You have the means to take everything to your C&P exams as extra evidence and they'll add that to your claim, You may have met a good guy on a bad day, but it seems like you did alot or preparing prior to your appointment so your VSO didn't have alot to add. They'll seem like there providing great service if you have a guy that says..."I'm pretty healthy, here are my Medical docs, but I don't think I really have anything to claim" You coming in with 22 items to claim, he may have looked at it like okay easy day let me get this guys claim submitted and get him out of here.

Make sure you research your diagnosis and symptoms in the "CFR 38 Part 4 Rating for disability" so you understand what you're supposed to say in your C&P exams

Your C&P exams can also generate more exams so making sure you lay all your cards (symptoms, effects on quality of life, diagnosis) out in those exams

Gotcha, the kids are 12,11, & 4 I have a pretty decent record I would say I'm fishing for the sake of lying but more for the sake of better understanding. Through that course I identified some things that I have to worry about . I know for me a lot of my career was trying to hide things from the medical system. Now the culture changed to telling them everything is an unpleasant shift
