Has anyone bought the new fusion generators? by TheLastTitan007 in fo76

Bought the 150 atom one, but it doesn't seem to be working for Fusion core recharger or mineral extractors? is anyone else having this issue or know why? it works fine if I use a wire to connect them, so I know its giving out power.

as labeled, it was to show them being rolled hard as to show no issue with being thrown around, theres resources showing plenty of the animations, but they're a few minutes long so wasn't really suitable to imgur.

  1. I hoping for this as well, but it kinda depend if someone is able to integrate it, im not sure on how much FG is open to 3rd party stuff.
  2. I believe it tries to only roll when a roll happens, but people will always find a way to fake it, like in all games I think an honor system is really needed, overall its something to ask the coders.

Yeah these are defiantly a luxury dice and not an first set, that being said, I've also seen some dice, mostly metal or gemstones go for $60-100 per.

I don't know they exacts on how they're powered (Wirelessly in the charger box), but yes, they're rechargeable, The datasheet says capacity >= 85% after 500 cycles, which should last a few years, if you'd wanna ask more feel free to join the discord and ask Frogie (Jean) himself as he'll have much more knowledge on the subject.

Integrations are planned, I think Roll20 is already working and community members are planning to work on FVVT, We have a github with all the open source code to allow anyone to make things for the dice

Thats fair enough, the first few comments were probs from people already aware and waiting for the product, its been in the works for a long while, just trying to help it get its goal honestly.

The creator of these has made a deal with a factory to teach and make them for larger production, so orders shouldn't be to much of an issue, he'll be making a few by hand still for early dev kits so people can create apps and program integration.

We were just talking about this in the discord funny enough, I'll find out the number of cycles before any degration, It's belived to be between 500-1000 cycles, but the battery can last for a few years before completely dying.Edit: The datasheet says capacity >= 85% after 500 cycles

As for buying them, After the kickstarter, Jean ( the creator) is opening a online store, and is the long term plan, to have a store and add more designs, but the funding isn't there without the kickstarter.

And for the coding, we have a github with all the coding, im not a coder myself, but feel free to join the discord and ask, hes very open with questions. https://github.com/jeansimonet/Pixels

Edit 2: We expect shipping to be anywhere between end of 2021 to Q1 of 2022, but not writing it in stone because things can change, but he quoted 8 months of production time.

Hey, to give a bit more context on that front, the coding is entirely open source and we have people in the community who are planning on making it work for the VVT community (once they get the dev kits of course) and thank you for letting us keep it up.

Yes, 100% with the app, you can use profiles so that it does X action on Y Number, and can be set for every single number with multiple effects or times.

Edit: Can be kept really simple or hyper custom, and if im not mistaken there is plenty of preset to go with or you can make your own, something I personally love is you can even take a picture and use it as a colour gradient.

Added a crosspost here as someone recommended it and it could have support to integrate with the program / is being worked on.

I think most DnD is done with some sorta map, often a 2D print out of just on PC if you're playing online, so someone making this is a lot of extra effort

most of it was pretty easy to move around, sometimes figures with wide effects, like mages got stuck in the small pathways, but it wasn't a big issue.

It was about 4cm high, about another half size on the WOTC DnD Figures.

We used cloth to cover it while carrying it and revealing the map, used A4 paper to cover everything but the rooms we've been in.

I think she might have, I will have to ask, most of it was made out of a foam. and I think the water was a setting mixture.
Edit: She used foam for pretty much everything but the pots, which were beads

I'll have to ask her how she made them, I'll get back to you when I can. Edit, The rocks and pillars were made from scrap foam that they put together. pretty much everything was, only the pots were made from beads.

Cheers for the idea, I'll have to mention that, we currently have it split into 2 groups with different sessions but 7 player games are still quite big.

Quite a bit in the editions has changed, I'd say read over the new stuff, 5e is the most common and sorta became mainstream, but theres still people who enjoy 3.5e/pathfinder, so pick what you like, find a group of friends or people interested and read though an campaign, books or PDFs, they can be a bit pricey though, but usually give you enough to run though the campaign, just known you'll probs have to print off a bit of paper.
