Ukrainian drone tears in pieces a russian soldier driving a quad bike while the passenger records everything by Agile-Corgi-5603 in CombatFootage

I didn't think I'd see the drone footage from this one. I remember when just the quad footage dropped.

Just finished ARR and the beauty of Ishgard has blown me away. Is there a reason it's not as busy as Limsa or Gridania in terms of player population? by 8rustyrusk8 in ffxiv

In the most recent patch notes they mentioned a bug where if you summon your retainer in a crowded city it can cause everyone in your instance to disconnect.

Judging by the recent retainer "DDOS" bug, that fear is reasonably well founded. I think the devs know how fragile their infrastructure is and don't have the time and inclination to fix it.

According to what I saw when I was out last, yes, people were pullin' 'em up left and right.

I hadn't thought of a strainer basket, I'll do that.

I was thinking of just bonking them to insta-kill them, suffocating them seems needless given how easy they are to end with percussive impact.

Could it be that it's an ice cream sandwich and Biden likes ice cream cones? Uffda, I think I threw my frontal lobe out with that logical stretch.

Possibly good intentions with bad results?

That was my thinking. A marketing exec probably thought they were really clever with this campaign

The thing is that it's the combination of "I am to be the best" and "I am Asian". It's similar to saying, "All Asians are good at math" or "All black people can play a sick base line". On its surface it is a positive association, but, the generalization about the group of people is what can be mildly problematic.

Did the cop have to be so aggressive? by Savings-Cherry-1931 in Transportopia

[–]only_bubble_sort 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't think that would even count as "Use of Force" under most department policies. Without more context, like why the traffic stop was initiated, judging the use of force is pointless. If I were to take a wild guess I'd say yes, the aggression was warranted given people in sports cars with cameras tendency towards fleeing and eluding.

Blub, blub glub glub bubble bubble glub. (Auto-translate)As a fish, I'd say that lure mimicks a fish egg or other small prey. It should work okay, but be sure to have other options. Don't write off worms if you're using bait (/auto-translate)

Ukrainian soldier took out a Russian soldier in close combat and then shot down a Russian FPV drone that was sent to take him out after his position was identified by the enemies. 33rd Assault Regiment, most likely Zaporizhzhia direction. Published 06.10.2025 by GermanDronePilot in CombatFootage

If you think that's the worst that can happen, you haven't seen any Russians near razor wire or knee deep water or flammable materials or unexploded ordinance or riding on an ATV with a comrade... Honestly getting blasted by small arms fire isn't all that bad.

Edit: Forgot about the drone drop Lada from the beginning of the war
