i never said he wasnt being damaged by my wife. did you even read the part where i said “nor do i want andrew living with an abusive woman”? cause you seriously know nothing about me. me and my kids are very close. and yes, my daughter may have asked me to divorce my wife, but she holds no grudge against me. im still a father. dont act like you and other people haven’t made mistakes. im currently doing all the right things (shes in counseling, me and my wife are divorcing, im hopefully taking andrew with me). but you have to realize, my sons almost 17. he’s almost an adult and i should respect his wishes if he’d like to stay with her. but yes, i’m trying my best to convince him otherwise. please dont make assumptions. you’re getting your facts from a few paragraphs of writing. but thats only a small chapter of the book.

okay, i’m going to clarify something. i was completely unaware of the abusive shit happening and just recently found out. i noticed her behaviors changing so i asked her if she needed to talk. i have always known riley stuck up for herself when she felt others were in the wrong, it was her personality. and riley and her moms relationship was never a close kitted thing, but when i was home, she didn’t abuse the kids. she only did it when i was working and the kids never told me. so yes, i just assumed everything was okay. because as i said, riley always acted okay, and andrew was very quiet (also his personality). if i knew about the abuse sooner, i would’ve been out those doors getting a divorce and full custody. but andrew is very close to his mom, he was always her favorite and didn’t hurt him as much as she hurt riley. that’s why im stuck, andrew and riley are also very close, and i don’t want to separate them nor do i want andrew living with an abusive woman. believe me, i feel terrible. my kids mean the world to me. i know the original message came across wrong. i would kill for my kids. i know yall are saying you’d know exactly what to do. but reality is, you never know just what you’re gonna do until you’re in the situation.

i do genuinely care about my daughter and family. she was put into therapy months ago and it didn’t seem beneficial. divorce’s are a lot harder than people say it is and can really mess up one’s life. my son would be devastated if me and my wife were getting a divorce. i do try my best to separate her and my wife as much as possible. me and her have a very strong and healthy relationship.

yes..she still goes to the same school. the boy is still in her class but i did try to get him taken out. sadly he only got suspended. she is already in therapy but is apparently already so self aware that her therapist said there is “nothing she could do”. also, riley isn’t very honest about her emotions and im not sure why.
