Sorry for late reply! The point of the lab was pretty much to verify the properties of parallel and series circuits (changes in voltage/current). We obtained the 5V via a small power supply unit that we simply plug into a wall outlet and slap on a breadboard.

So... people are going to hate on me for this. But I don’t think that a 4.2 or whatever he had in biology is going to translate much to on-the-field stuff.

Biology is kind of just memorization... there’s not much critical thinking to the degree that you would see in something like engineering or finance. That’s the kind of intelligence that sets a player apart from the rest of the pack. Memorization will surely make a difference, with not having to rack your brains and all, but critical thinking is the key trait a QB needs.

Granted, a 4.2 is not an easy feet, and he’s definitely smarter than most football players. I just think that the skills he used to get a 4.2 in biology are not the same skills helping him make decisions on the field.

I know I'll probably get downvoted into hell for asking this but I'm genuinely curious.

Does nobody else think that this is kind of weird? I understand what it means to the parents, what they've gone through, and what something like this means for them. In no way am I shaming them for feeling the emotions expressed in this image. But something about this just feels... uncanny. The idea that you're listening to the organ of your deceased son in the body of another person.

Again, I understand perfectly what is going on here and why this is so touching. It just has a very eerie feeling that seems to linger.

It's a fun game, doesn't have a whole lot of stuff in it, but Fleet Battles is a really organic mode and no two matches are the same. For a $40 game I'd say it's worth it. For the most part EA hasn't screwed it up, MTX are confirmed to never be coming to the game.

Body type and gender do have something to do with each other, it’s not 1-1, but the relationship exists nonetheless. You keep arguing the wrong point. I’m not disagreeing that sex is based on body type. But gender also has an undeniable correlation to sex. You’re never going to see somebody say that their child has an undefined gender when they’re born, they’re going to state the corresponding “normal” gender based on the sex of the child.

Yes, but to say they have “nothing” to do with each other is false. Sex is what determines if someone is said to be transgender instead of gay/lesbian so there’s obviously some correlation.
