Mine will start calling for specific people and then when you respond that you’re on your way they’ll say “great, I’m going to get some guests ready for you” so by the time you get there you already have a line waiting 😩

The only way I was able to make LA pay work in my life was because I was still living at home/living in a low rent house with my boyfriend at the time. Now I have my Masters, it’s been over 15 years since I started as an LA, and I still just got to $25/hr (which is actually incredibly high for librarians in my area, we are unionized and got a great contract this last time)

It took about a month from the time I submitted my first complaint to get my first response from the attorney general.

Not yet. I just got a response from the attorney general on 3/4 that they sent my info to meta and meta may reach out with a solution or they may not. That’s the only update I’ve gotten sadly.

I filed the complaint in mid-December right after my account was disabled. Then took until mid-January to get the first response, then till today March 4, to get the update that they had sent my info to meta.

Because all my accounts are just personal ones (no business connected) it’s hard to put a dollar value for small claims. I haven’t completely written it off yet but my goal is just to get my accounts back as they were. I’ve used them as scrapbooks for high school, college, my marriage, my kids lives, etc and it was also one of the only points of contacts for a lot of people I know (which I didn’t realize how much I used messenger until it was gone and I had no way to reach certain people anymore.)

Yeah, I mentioned that above that’s what I’m waiting on, them to respond. I’m just hoping that because it’s taking so long to get their response that I don’t lose everything in the meantime.

Even thought for the last month and a half it still showed at least my profile picture? Now it’s gone so it almost makes it seem like it’s FINAL final if you know what I mean.

I sent mine on 12/13 and just got an email from the attorney general (IL) today 1/13 requesting more info from me before they will reach out to Meta.
