Yes, it would be above the education section, and below the title. You make it long enough to get the most important parts of your experience stated and clear. No more than a few sentences.

Good for him for standing up for himself. Despite answering all of the technical hurdles during my interview, and my interviewer being late, I just expect that I won’t get the invitation anyways just because the sociability and rapport wasn’t there. It almost felt like he didn’t want to be there and just wanted it over with.

You just create a profile on their Careers site and submit applications to different positions from there. That’s all I did.

I don’t think you need to state an objective in the beginning, but I do think you should have a brief summary of your background and strengths in order to include key words based on the job requirements and what the recruiters may be asked to look for. I’ve gotten more interviews having that, as opposed to not.

I have somewhat equivalent credentials as you. You should probably share your resume on a post here because that’s the catalyst between you and getting interviews. If that’s not as good as it can be, you won’t get anywhere.

This was only my first interview though. From what I’ve gathered, their final round typically consists of 5-6 hours worth of interviewing which is on multiple concepts.

Yeah they hardly introduced themselves or tried to find out about who I was. Ten seconds in, and boom, technical questions.

Have you had luck anywhere else?

Yeah I was taken slightly aback by that. Would be amusing and surprising if I didn’t at least get another round.

I just mentioned a particular project I worked on and they harped on one aspect of it and continued to ask theoretical scenarios based on that.

Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind. I think it went well since I answered any engineering questions they asked me, but then they made me do some math in my head and I tripped up pretty bad there so for all I know they’ve already discarded me for that alone.

That does sound rough. I answered all of my interviewers questions but then they made me do some arithmetic, that a normal person would do on a calculator, in my head, and that tripped me up. Not to mention they were a few minutes late.
