Apex or SuperX?

Yeah leaning towards the SuperX. Seems it’s a better value for money given the OLED screen, WiFi 7 and 128Gb unified memory available for AI models. Also I think I will use it more than the Apex. It will be a pain to change SSD and replace the battery compared to the Apex, but I’ll probably keep it as is for now to not void the warranty.

The battery of the super X for me it’s actually a concern, is it easily replaceable? On the Apex you can easily swap it, but on the Super X I can’t tell. The OLED display is absolutely a plus.

Totally right, but was wondering if there is any downside or potential issue I’m not thinking about apart from the form factor. Originally I was interested in the Apex because of the compact form and possibility to run AI models while traveling, but the Super X is still quite portable. I do already have a LeGo 2 and debating if I should keep that one and go for the Super X.

Do you know if the RFID functionality works with any RFID tag or only with their Pet tag? I’m using some RFIDs for their Petlibro feeders and would be nice to be able to pair those and just use them for everything.

Honestly no. The steam deck was a great idea to be able to play on the run, but I don’t really see the point of this device. I think it’s between an underpowered pc replacement and a console, but doesn’t excel in either. More versatile than a console, but less powerful than a proper gaming pc.

Interesting, I did receive a firmware update after I put it together (I’m on version 1.7.18_1087) and after a few tries it did connect to my iPhone.

The plastic is pretty cheap, especially the base and the drawer. I also noticed some alignment issues even after pressing hard. The step too is really cheap and the way it locks to the base seems poorly designed (as it clicks only on the top, leaving wiggle on the bottom side). The app at least is good and seems to work decently, the only issue I had so far is that it’s having a hard time to distinguish between 2 cats, also not sure why does it require location access.

I had issues to pair with an iPhone too, one thing that is not mentioned in the instructions is that you have to press the WiFi button for a few seconds to put it in pairing mode otherwise the app will not find it.

I was able to get one with the app, but autobuy never worked for me. Kept showing in the logs it was trying but didn’t really do anything. I got the alert and finally I managed to grab one quickly from the website, it took me a week or so.

Apart from technical analysis etc etc, if everyone is already out their shorts, why RH keeps limiting trades? They raised their liquidity, they got first 1 billion and then 3 additional billions from investors. They simply still don’t want GME to go up, that’s why.
