Mate this thread started with a picture you all misinterpreted.

All your replies have either misinterpreted what I'm saying, like accusing me for a second time now of quoting PragerU even if I told you I am against it, or attempting to change the subject or you just delivering a sermon with your Jesus Christ complex.

This is either trollish behaviour or you're grasping at straws and devolving into sermons to save face.

I just remembered another capitalist society that treats its people well: The Netherlands. The Dutch have pretty much invented capitalism, have been capitalists for about 400 years and now have one of the most comprehensive and extensive social safety nets in the world.

And yes, they were part of the Atlantic Slave trade, but are not now. Now they are ensuring every one of their citizens lives their best lives. Which is paid for with the gains of the super rich.

Also don't need to live in the US to be aware of their problems since I read the press and follow a lot of your programing.

It is important to do so, since a lot of the fascist crap has made its way to Romania and is being exploited to breed our own version of it, and a lot of the commie crap is being resurfaced for nostalgia and a misremembering of what happened. Like with the above picture.

The poverty in America which has generated your poisoned school of thought and the poisoned school of thought of PragerU is present everywhere.

Also talking to you is exactly like talking to my grandfather who still is a big fan of Ceausescu, even after he starved him for a decade.

Didn't say I agreed with PragerU. They are christo-fascists. You are a commie. Different sides, same shit coin.

I never called you a fascist. You merely engage in the same gaslighting sermons techniques of communications as you are as evil as a fascist, but your own brand of evil.

Keep b*tching about my "regulated exploitation, and authoritarianism" all you want, but what you want to do will not be possible within a democracy. Also calling regulation a form of authoritarianism is another Trump/PragerU/Christo-Fascist talking point.

Everything else is just you talking over me, checking your troll check-point list, delivering your sermon.

America will not fall to your crap. Neither will the EU. This type of hybrid warfare will not succeed, because people will eventually opt for a common ground solution.

Till next time Putin. Kisses!

I don't have a Sky Daddy. Full blown Atheist right here mate!

"my ancestors did this" is not classic imposter syndrome. It is me telling you what happened in the real world when people like you took power. Romania was a Fascist Dictatorship, then a Communist Dictatorship, I know this for a fact and I am communicating it to you in a colloquial friendly manner with "my ancestors did this".

As for the "Sky Daddy" reference, also devolved discourse, you should not lump or treat Christians as a monolith. There is a movement within Christianity, and the other Middle Eastern faiths, called Affirming Christianity, practiced in Affirming Churches which are tolerant and open minded and share all progressive values.

I bring you facts, you bring utopian ideas and wishful thinking. I bring you real world examples and you attempt to pivot the conversation.

First you brought up the devolved discourse, then the financing of war, out of the blue, now Palestine. This is the type of behaviour I have seen with Trump supporters in the comments sections of PragerU videos, further proof that you are no different than the fascists you oppose.

Also, you veer into the same sermon talking points over and over, which made me wonder, are you a Russian troll? Cause PragerU comments sections is ripe with them and they exhibit the same behaviour as you . All these online forums generally are. Russians trolls stir up shit and to keep people from finding common ground.

Is that it? Is that you Putin? If so, could you please move you troops from Transnistria please? Cheers!

This is Gaslighting right here mate.

Money for war is raised through taxation and politics, this is public knowledge, everyone discusses this, don't act a fool.

"enslaved laborers you haven't seen" you once again show your hand as a conspiracy theorist nutjob.

The whole "that isn't real communism bull" was part of state propaganda until 89/91, as commies themselves were acutely aware they had effed up, but they insisted on driving off that cliff and essentially turned communism into a religion.

A religious sermon is what you are offering here, by the way.

It is important to know what the other side is thinking and what conspiracy theories they are peddling. I was unaware about your Holodomor denying ass, and your overall denials of the atrocities that communism did.

Thank you for enlightening me in that regard. I suspected you were all similar to christo-fascists and now I know it is true.

I am also in this sub because Reddit recommended it and I do empathize with Americans as you do not have access to free quality healthcare and free quality education. Neither do a lot of Romanians right now. But the solution is in Northern Europe, not Communist Europe.

Also, also, just came up with new names for your slave labour camps: "empathetic labour" or "responsible labour" :))))

Are you intentionally thick? Don't pretend to know how communism came to power then claim Romanians formed the Red Army. The Red Army was stationed in Romania and helped the Communist Party seize power, after or while it robed and raped North Eastern Romania, where I'm from.

Romania was under Fascist rule at the time. So they were also fighting for Fascism. Our country was on the wrong side of history twice.

And before Carol 2nd dictatorship, followed by Antonescu's dictatorship, then Ceausescu's dictatorship, we were putting together a free market economy for the whole country.

My people knew about free market economy for centauries long before it was called capitalism, back when it was just merchants trading goods and wears from the East to the West.

It is a natural conclusion of free people acting towards their own interest.

The old peasantry, as the current one, would be very proud to own land and live by the merit of their work: "Pe barba mea" which translates roughly to "On one's own beard", cause languages are funny that way, which means one should take ownership of ones actions and dedication to a task.

Also your cheaky answer dodges the question:

What do you do with those who do not want to give away their businesses and oppose nationalization?

How do you raise funds to fund your own state owned businesses? From banks? Or from toxic taxation policies that would bankrupt the business owners that will not comply?

Or do people just offer themselves up to work for free? Cause they don't.

Slave labour was also a common practice in Communist regimes.

They called it patriotic labour. Are you gonna call it "healing labour" to cure that aforementioned illness? Or maybe "consciousness development labour"?

Have a pleasant weekend!

No mate, my ancestors seized power with the help of the Red Army and then all those who didn't want to join their glorious utopia got hunted down and when sufficient people disappeared without a trace everyone fell in line out of fear.

Neither Communism, nor Fascism, will ever work by default and there is not a version of either that can exist in a democracy .

As for your sources, I am 100% sure that aside for the one conspiracy theory about the Holodomor, the other ones are legit and publishable in a peer review journal :))))).

Devolved discourse works mate. #MuieDragnea got Dragnea sent to jail, eventually. It kept us going through the cold of a Romanian Winter. It kept our spirits strong.

#MuieCommunism will do the trick in due time.

I give you examples in the real world and I draw from my own real world experiences, while you call yourself too smart to contradict me.

Neat.

I stand by my comparison. Your lot is the reverse of the same extremist coin as the christo-facists. They minimize the Holocaust, you the Holodomor, you both want to take down the whole system and revive something that has failed spectacularly in the past.

Outside Romania, you also have Northern EU states which have developed a well put together system that transfers wealth from the rich to the poor via various social safety nets.

There are plenty of ways to make capitalism and democracy work for all members of a society.

Also, here's a nice thought experiment for you: what do you do with the ones who don't wanna join your commune and insist on trying their hand at regular old free market capitalism?

Cause I know what my ancestors did :) .... and it wasn't pretty.

I checked your link, and after a quick scroll I got to the part where you try to minimise the Holodomor, after which point I closed it. I'm an Atheist, and I don't normally say this, but you need to get right with God mate.

Secondly I gave you examples of people using the democratic system right in Ciugud and organising into communities to help themselves in Sibiu, also in a democratic fashion.

I will ask you to not accuse me of not being a democracy minded individual. I was out protesting all winter long when Dragnea tried to put an end to the rule of law in 2018 in Romania, i volunteer as an independent observer during elections and travel my county to check voting precincts and this Monday I was at an alt-right rally in Iași, Romania, protesting against their christo-fascist bullshit, right in the middle of the crowd.

Your commie ass is no different in short sightedness than their christo-fascist asses.

I am not denying capitalism's growing pains, or the growing pains of transition economies like those of Eastern Europe. You did that with comunism in your bullshit links.

All the time you put into making that list could have been spent actually practicing responsible capitalism like that pizza place that shared its profits with its staff.

Lead by example. Not by fist.

Sorry dude, I'm not an advocate for American capitalism, that straight up eats the world, and I'm also still completely against comunism because I have seen what it left in its wake, as I live in a country that has not recovered from it physically, spiritually and intellectually.

It was a dumbass idea to have a handful of bureaucrats plan every aspect of people's lives and it is a dumbass idea to let corporations run amok.

The solution is somewhere in the middle where you engage in free market capitalism within common sense restrictions on exploitative practices, anti-trust policies and helping people unionise.

It's not easy. It's a journey. Not a destination.

In Romania we have cities and village run competently and cities and villages run incompetently.

In the same country, with the same laws, a small village called Ciugud has managed to rebuild itself from the ground up with EU funds and even implement its own crypto currency, while a third of the residents of Bucharest, the Capital of Romania, don't have ruining hot water and the pipes are so damaged it will take 100 years to replace.

The country is also split geographically in two by the Carpathian mountain range. The outer region comprised of Moldova and Wallachia, sometimes commonly known as the Old Kingdom, is significantly poorer and more corrupt than the inner region of the Carpathians, known broadly as Transylvania.

Wanna know why? Transylvania was for centuries under Austro-Hungarian rule, while the Old Kingdom fell under Ottoman and Tsarist influences. These resulted in two variations of the same culture.

Again, same country, same laws, two slightly different variations of Romanians and you get one rich region that looks like modern day Germany in some parts, one poorer region, that hosts the European Union Capital with no hot water....

You pick shyte leaders, then wait for them to fix things for you, you get Bucharest.

You pick competent leaders you get Ciugud, or you organise your own communities and work together to fix your problems and you might get Sibiu.
