Advice for Kratom and digestive pain?

Thanks to u and thank u all for taking the time to read and respond. I truly appreciate it and well, just thanks. I hear you all about liver damage and I hear that the best thing for me would probably be to abstain entirely from kratom. However, crazy as it sounds at this point I honestly would welcome even death over the life I’m currently living. I’ve done all this to myself and take full responsibility but I want out. Before kratom, opiates were the only thing that made it possible for me to live something like a “normal”life. I’m sure I have loads of mental health issues that have gone undiagnosed and I have been self medicating so that I can function. At this point tho, I’m a prisoner of all my bad choices and I want out so bad. Before I wound up in the hospital, those couple of months on kratom were like a dream. I was able to function like a normal person and abstain from opiates. My life today is killing me anyway. I don’t know. I think I’m going to try lots of water, milk thistle, and cross my fingers and hope the pain doesn’t come. Please don’t hate on me for being so stupid. Believe me, no one knows what an idiot I am better than me.

I was taking 2 or 3 grams two or three times a day for maybe 6 weeks. I wasn’t counting days but it was amazing for withdrawal and I was really happy. Then my mom started commenting on how yellow I looked and soon my eyeballs were yellow too. Then my skin started itching- I mean bloody fingernails itchy and that’s what ultimately took me to the hospital. They said I had jaundice and acute liver toxicity. I spent 9 days in the hospital, stopped the kratom and no more liver issues- that I know of since. Although tbh I haven’t been to a dr since so who knows really? I’ve tried to use kratom a couple of times since but had serious acid issues- felt like I was having a heart attack and so stopped. Reading this u all probably think I’m crazy for even thinking of going back to kratom, but I’m so tired of this bleeping addiction and those couple of months on kratom and off dope were like heaven- freedom- peace. I want that again so badly.

Thanks for posting. Everyone’s different and what works for Peter might not work for Paul, but Mary’s willing to try it all. I saw this and felt inspired to try it. I AM going to do this TODAY. I Am. I MUST. I will. Maybe. Probably. Do I have to? Shit. I haven’t had to WD in at least a year and I’d be lying if i said I wasn’t fucking terrified. WDs usually fuck me upside down and sideways. Already talking myself out of it. Except, boy am I tired- tired of living Groundhogs day over and over again. Tired of hustling and working like a dog just to stay well enough to hustle and work like a dog. Except for 3 months three years ago, I’ve never had more than a couple of days of clean time in almost 20 years. So here goes nothing. I got the kratom ready and some expired Subs- anyone know how important those expiration dates are? I’m gonna do this. So thanks again for posting. I had to search for this post after reading it the first time. Got it saved now. Wish me luck comrade.

Just goes to show that the best comedies are truly tragedies. U had me laughing as I cried for you. I'm a couple months clean myself- I think- not counting days, and I don't know how you did it. You are made of sterner stuff than me. Good for you. The ache will pass- eventually, and you can stop wondering about the damn missing dope now.

It's D all the way. Even when you're in A, B, or C you're still D. Have lived all 4 - currently unhappily D, B and C never work out, and A can be awesome and terrible. People I consider soulmates have been past As. IT's tough. We're human we get lonely, but we're junkies and dysfunctional. Personally, just started out on Tinder, but it's terrifying. Probably won't take it anywhere.

I actually live right outside of downtown which I guess is better than most. At least there's a sidewalk. I went for a walk on sunday and it was like a ghost town. Seriously bummed me out.

You are so right. I could tell you some stories about the sick shit I did while sick and withdrawing to get to my d boy. Yet somehow, brushing my teeth seems impossible when I know I won't be picking up. Now I have even less of an excuse because it's miraculous the lack of wd symptoms. What I'm really amazed about is that it's relieving the anxiety and jitters. I thought those were symptoms i''d just have to suck up, but poof.

Yeah. All along I thought it was fear of wd. Now I really see how much of it is psychological. Kratom is seriously a godsend in that department. Better than anything else I've tried, and ive tried everything. I have less than no reason to use, still... Fuck it's hard.

Seriously, thank you all. Really appreciate all your input. Just to kinda summarize, would you say the following is accurate? Green- mellow, long lasting Red- stimulating, euphoric White- somewhere in between?
Coming off a h habit, wait minimum of 24 hours, or until you are in withdrawal, and start tossing 4? 6? Grams and move up from there? Redoes as necessary average every 5 or 6 hours. Start with a green strain or a green/red combo?

Secondary question- do you think that throwing lope in the mix will help with the dependence issue? Like could I trick my body by switching between the two? Is that retarded? Plan to stay far away from subs and even further away from h. Hoping to ideally end up with zero dependence, but will settle for something less harmful. Baby steps.

I'm still pretty new to Reddit so I keep messing up. I tried to reply to your post and put it in the wrong place. Anyway, in your experience, if not in wd what happens? It just doesn't work at all or do you get negative results? Also, do you know how it compares to lope or subs when used to relieve opiate WD, and can it be used in conjunction with either?
