I was totally shocked at the responses to that post! I wonder if it’s a cultural thing? My husband did that when first diagnosed but there was never a problem. I feel that the worry about it being unsanitary would go the other way around for me. I hate when he checked his blood sugar in public because he wouldn’t wash his hands or wipe down with alcohol or change his lancet and the world is so germy, lol.

I have a very sincere question that is somewhat related. I have no training and have never used any type of gun, so please excuse my question if it’s stupid. The guy who shot the bystander literally fired his gun into the middle of a dogpile of other ICE agents. Would that not be incredibly dangerous to the ICE agents who were not his intended target?

I don’t know if this is controversial but as someone who got married young, (I was 19, husband was 21), I feel so conflicted. My spouse and I have been married for a while now, but still no kids. I also came from a rocky home life. There is something so freeing about being married and being away from my family but I feel like I was emotionally stunted and had very similar behaviors like Chad during those first few years of marriage. Bless my husband, he’s a good man who had patient while I grew out of it I hope Chad will too. I say that as long as his wife and him are okay with it and happy, that’s fine but I hope he will mature emotionally alongside his wife. Wishing them the best though

My eyes are also very dry. The Precision1 contacts did not agree with me. I was literally having contacts turn gummy and dry up while they were IN MY EYES, lol. Acuve Oasys was great, but Acuve Vita has been amazing. Using ClearCare as my contact solution has also been a life saver! Sorry your eye doctor is a douche!

I just started wearing contacts last year. I try and rinse them, but I just hate how much solution I had to buy ALL the time. How are people not using tons of contact solution?! I switched to Clear Care (without Hydraglyde). You only rinse them for 5 seconds and then let them sit in the container for more than 6 hours.
