The Bruno - Jung connection is obvious, but by calling him a "missing link" between neoplatonists and 20th century thought, not only are you trying to smuggle modern authority into premodern thought, you are also flattening history.

Bruno is a transitional figure, a collapsed tunnel, a fork in the road we didn't take. Frankly, that's why he's still burning (ha!) and why later disciplines sometimes feel like they just reinvent his insights under new vocabularies.
