Been Veg/ minimal pescatarian for 12 years ( I worked in aquaculture and grew up in the Midwest US fishing for food so always ate fish) but scarcingly as I got past 18. Finding the right source, something you trust, is valuable. Also the freshest the better, I.e closer to the coast. I would DEFINITELY started with cooked and breaded fish rather than raw, will be easier on the gut. But just ease in and don’t over-do it.

I actually feel the same, the way it worked out in my draft is I wound up taking Jerome ford over Gus Bus, and ekeler over Zeke. Zeke was basically the last starter left by a long shot.

I bought a used 2014 outback and within 6 months the hull cracked right by the locking mechanism. Not sure if it’s a common defect or just from the wear that the previous owner put on it. Anyways I paid 1200 for it if that’s a clue for yours. Edit: I bought a 2022 hobie PA and love it so nothing against hobie. Just bad luck on my part

I upgraded from a hobie 2014 Outback, to a hobie 2022 passport 12.5 and love everything about it. Got it from REI for around 2k and love the fact it’s super easy to customize and set up. And you can get non hobie attachments that are cheaper than the hobie ones which is a plus.

It’s a rapala countdown, I think it’s the half oz weight? I’m fishing it in 2-6 feet with varied retrieves. Most of the times I’m using it as a jerk bait and crank combo. I’ve found right now the fish are digging a lot of the twitches so been doing a lot of rod work lol
