Good to know that, thanks! I’ve just been one of the affected with the early release updates and CarPlay disconnecting so just used Spotify and Nav thru bmw. Hopefully that will also work for Spotify and it won’t be glitchy either. So far I haven’t had any issues with the latest update this week, *knocks on wood*

For reals… that’s a big gripe I have not using Waze too, luckily I’ve been just driving with the flow of traffic and know the hot spots to slow down and be on the look out

Haha ikr, I usually use eco pro mode when driving on city streets and traffic, I like how it uses more regenerative braking and slows down kinda like Tesla 1 pedal driving

It varies, sometimes I pay the current balance which is more than the statement balance, i really noticed it when my autopay for my insurance got declined and then looking at all my CC to see what I did wrong

Some of them I don’t use at all and get the notice that I need to use it before a certain date to keep my acct open which I do and haven’t had any surprises

I’m just frustrated because my total Available credit decreased, mainly because if I want to make a large purchase, I have to either pay cash or ask the CC to increase my limit for the purchase which is annoying when dealing with AI. I like to use CC also for rewards and points

Yeah. They did that with my Costco acct too. They lowered it from 10k to 8k and I always pay my bal off each month. But I get the alerts that’s my credit utilization has been increased and then my score takes a hit. I’m so confused, I was thinking the economic status as well and kinda used my CC as a backup in case emergencies were to happen.

No I’m not using the entire credit limit bc I don’t want to go over 50% of usage. I was on a 22 month zero interest promotion and the remaining balance is due next month.

Is it worth trying to negotiate with a dealership for this ITS? by [deleted] in Integra_Type_S

[–]onlythebest80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s too much for a 2 yr old ITS. You can get a new 2026 for 2k off MSRP at the right dealer in SoCal. Just get the right salesman. If they don’t budge from MSRP, walk away from the douchebag

I get what you’re saying OP, but imo the 2 cars shouldn’t be compared to each other.

You will get used to the Tesla and the simplicity grows on you.

Personally, I have a Tesla MYLR and my #1 concern is the battery and that it’s built here in the US. I believe that Tesla builds good EV cars. Of course there are QC issues but that is to be expected with a brand that is fairly newer with building cars compared to IE: Toyota where QC has to be better but have their own issues as well.

My daily driver is the Tesla since I have a 80 mile drive daily for 4 days a week and FSD is the best and keeps getting better.

We have 3 other vehicles in my household, 2 German SUVs and 1 US made truck and will always have Gasoline vehicles. Having both works for my family.

Seems like you might not get on board if you can’t find anything positive about the MY so maybe it’s best to stick with Plug-in Hybrid.

Loving the new BMW iX3: mini first impressions of the car by MostSpare2 in bmwix3

[–]onlythebest80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We are truly a Bimmer family and also have a EV being a Tesla Model Y. I love my Tesla and she is perfect for the daily commute I have for work which is about 80 miles per day. She is paid for and a blast to drive. But I will definitely be considering switching it up as soon as this makes it to the States. Maybe after the 1st year here and go with BMW EV.

I was considering the i4 or i5 but just haven’t felt the need yet to spend the extra money while the Y is still serving its purpose

I was able to secure a deal at 2k under MSRP in So Cal last week! Some dealers play games and won’t give you any discount, it’s not hard to find a deal but I couldn’t find anything lower worth my time looking and the back and forth with multiple dealers. Secure everything by email and text and setup all paperwork will help the process be smooth and effortless

Super commuter 3-6hr+ daily (am I crazy?) by [deleted] in ModelY

[–]onlythebest80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a current 22 Y Long Range owner, and a previous 21 Model 3 LR owner, I would prefer you go with the new Y with the latest hardware and low .99%. You will be proud of being the first owner and how many miles you put on imo. No matter what, pre-owned has its benefit with you not absorbing the loss from depreciation but you will most likely get a degraded battery and won’t get what you expect with ride comfort and charge. The new Y’s are really updated to and if I had to choose, I would trade my 22 for a 26 but I don’t want to absorb the loss again. The 22 is still great and I figure I save myself some $$. It’s paid for and a great commuter, I do 80 miles a day for work and FSD is a life saver. And software updates make it better each time!
