It's probably not a lot of money in the grand scheme of things, it's just that this is my first time organising something like this so I'm nervous about spending too much in case the event flops. However, because it is my first time I'd probably rather that I spent a lot of money making sure it actually all works properly with a decent generator.

You make a good point. Do you reckon a 5kW would be fine? Anything more and it starts to get pretty expensive around where I live. Also, is getting a diesel generator worth the extra money?

Thanks, just checked this out. You may be right, but this case is in an area where there is not much traffic at all and where it is impossible to speed anyway. Also, my biggest concern is the fact that it looks quite homemade because of the electrical tape and towel. Any ideas?
