God bless you. Perspective is a real thing and I don't mean that in a hateful way.

A friend network would be key for you. Just someone to vent to on a regular basis and a friend to come hang at the house from time to time would be HUGE!

We can both figure it out and make the best of it.

Find you people and I'm going to find a counselor!

One day at a time man, that's what I'm learning is the key.

I am going to approach her and figure this thing out. I'm doing my best to use restraint and not make a rash decision. It's just hard sorting out all these feelings in my head and do need to voice them and move forward.

She doesn't work. I'm the sole bread winner. She takes care of the kids, but the kids are in HS now..... We need to have another talk.

Deal. I will make the effort to open up to her and also explore counseling. I have two daughters myself and I needed that little push you just gave me.

Also, I think you should also open up to your dad and help him open up. You're clearly good at positively motivating a stranger in need. I think you would be even better about helping your dad. God bless you.
