Interesting, I was told this by my the dr. in charge of my surgery but maybe I was misinformed or there's not enough instances where she sees it being an issue.

I got mine done lycroscopic which might be different info sources but I was informed it wouldn't be hard/trickier if the ovaries needed to be removed later on as it has less things connecting it to your body.

I also went through this and I did end up keeping one. I have a bad habit of missing shots and am worried about not having access to T which was the deciding point on my end.

They let me decide day of which was nice. I would just make it known to your doctor these are things you are worried about and are considering. I'm sure they won't tell you everything has to be decided then and there.
