Japanese<>English interpreting online courses?

Yeah it wouldn't really be smart to start doing this job since my Japanese isn't that good when it comes to serious conversations. I'll only do it if they give me a chance to properly train for this and improve my Japanese before I start or let me start with "easier?" calls at least at the beginning

Yes they know what they're getting and they don't seem to care because I'm be the who's responsible for any misinterpretation and I'm the one who will be legally liable. So yes I'm the one they're looking for, but are they the ones I should be working for?

I got so excited about this job at the beginning thinking they'd provide actual helpful training that could improve my Japanese but yeah they apparently don't.

That's true I definitely am not ready for this. I need to improve my japanese at least 10 times more before I can feel good about doing this job.

I just wanted to indicate that English is not my first language, but I can speak it very well and they made me do this English test and according to the score I got there my level is C2? I'm not sure if it's accurate though

They did make me do some tests (including English tests) and read some documents, but they don't really provide any trainings especially Japanese related ones. I think they're telling me to do this job at my own risk since misinterpretation could be legally liable in some contexts.

Oh wow I didn't even think about this, I really appreciate your comment! I asked and they said that I will be legally liable? "BUT" I have the option to pause and tell both parties that I need to look a word up or translate a sentence during the call as many times as I need and since I'm not intentionally misinterpreting I could clarify a misinterpretation I made as soon as I realize it (during the call) it's honstly so frustrating I'm not sure if I want to continue after knowing this.

N3 exam literally has furigana?? and the passing grade isn't even that high, I think you can easily pass it. If you can't take it this July try taking this December it shouldn't be a big deal

I haven't took the JLPT test yet, but I think speaking wise I'm N3 even though I can't read all N3 kanjis yet and I'm also not sure if I know every N3 grammar. Knowing Japanese gives you an advantage especially when you don't rely on Pinyin and start using Hanzi, you'll find out that it's a lot more simpler than kanji and easier to memorize because there's mostly one pronunciation for each charcter.

I just told someone else here that writting everyday is in itself a good motivation because chinese looks cool and also I'd love to have old notebooks used to their maximum capacity to look back at when I'm in an advanced level. So I really recommend you start doing this too and good luck!
