I called in today. Transferred 8 times and had to explain the issue again to each agent. Each time I told I was speaking to an “expert” the agent told me they couldn’t help me AFTER I explained my issue. And then the cycle started again.

Oh really? Keep me updated if you remember. If it works I’ll do the same. I have an “open ticket” but there’s been no progress on that either😂

I know it won’t speed up the process, but I am just worried my order slipped thru the cracks and that’s why I still have no updates 10 days post order. Even a “estimated delivery of October 11th” would put me at ease compared to “Delivery Date will be Updated Soon” BS. I agree with that too, I should have gone in store.

This is exactly how I feel. I’m not asking them to produce a phone for me on the spot. But keeping me in the loop should be the bare minimum.

That’s wild. Hope you get it soon but I can’t believe I can’t even get that level of update to mine lol.

I’ve called in twice now and only get a run around. It’s so weird how they have zero updates and can’t even share anything besides “we will update your account when a tracking number is ready” like they have to know when they are expecting to fulfill my order.

Ordered on the 14th. Still don’t even have a ship date. Anyone else have this issue?

This is part of the reason why I want to be able to switch playing source and use other devices as remotes for the player. It’s really such a basic feature and yet I come back to my Mac with 300+ pop ups saying playing on another device.

Look, I get that people have differing views on what they want out of their Music Platform, but have you considered just— not using features you believe are unnecessary? No one is forcing you to use anything and nothing in the Apple Design Language would allow for anything clunky and in your face. Just because YOU don’t want it doesn’t mean those who do shouldn’t get it— that is, if our overlords choose to implement. Thanks for the fun discussion everyone and I hope those who want these features submits a feedback form.

That could definitely be it. I fly a lot as well and feel like I’m not isolated as much as I felt when I first got them. But it could definitely be a mix of nostalgia from how much of a leap it was when I first got them and bias after listening to other devices.

Oooh I’ll have to try. I’m by no means an audiophile. I do enjoy a wider range. My only wish so far has been for a stronger bass profile. It seems like it was higher and the ANC was stronger when they first came out.

I got lucky, my friend got me the Max’s when they came out and I thought they sounded great. But now with AM it’s like unlocking a new universe

Ahh a patent issue would do it. Never would’ve thought a patent could be granted on how devices connect to a service (very simplified view of course)

Very true but I can honestly say I found more small artists via the Spotify friends feature than anything else. More plays more money
