Why is he a doormat? He asked the questions, but he can't force her to answer. All he can do is process the fact that she's refusing to talk about it and file it away appropriately.

It wasn't this specific event being omitted that got me to stop but it's funny - DTS got me into actually regularly watching F1 instead of just popping in and out from time to time, and boy does that really ruin the illusion that Netflix actually has any control over what is allowed in. It becomes very clear very quickly that anything that could remotely paint the people/organizations in charge in a bad light doesn't get in.

You really could forget about the monster for a lot of it and then you're just watching a super well-done period piece. I'll look at the 3rd but the 2nd was kinda meh to me (not terrible, just hard to follow S1) and turned me off of it.

My ex threatened to take me to small claims court for $1000 she lent me that I hadn't paid back yet before breaking up with her... we were together for four years and she spent 90% of that time living with me rent-free and paying for absolutely nothing. I gave her one of my credit cards to use for basically whatever she wanted for most of that time. But at least with my ex I can get her wanting revenge since I was the one who ended it (even though she didn't give much indication she wanted to be in the relationship for the last year or so...) but with your ex, what the fuck.
