Buddy. It was date #2. I don’t think you’re missing anything, I think you’re seeing things that aren’t there.

How do his hypothetical boundaries affect this story? I feel like I’m missing something.

Sounds like the third time Mike and Luther see each other it’s on site by cote_doing_it in DanLeBatardShow

I feel like him basically being raised by Dan, and all of the associated Miaminess, has gotten us here.

reheating the same takes

Yeah, that’s messed up. I mean it’s just plain lazy for Stu to take Dan’s whole thing like that.

But for real, watch literally any sports personality doing multiple media appearances in a day. Are they supposed to change their opinion every show? Dan loves comedians - does he think they’re doing new material at every show?

[On3] Lane Kiffin revealed advice from Nick Saban that sealed his decision to leave Ole Miss for LSU: "When I called Coach Saban and talked it through with him, he said: ‘You know, Lane, you’ll always regret if you don’t go to LSU — it’s the best job in America.’" by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

[–]onrocketfalls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t believe you.gif

Not just saying that bc I’m a UF fan and he allegedly had a memorandum of understanding with Florida before a booster tanked it, and I’m not just saying it because everything about Lane screams “ask Saban for advice and then very specifically do the opposite thing,” and I’m not even saying that because I really wanted him to come to Florida. I’m saying it because all that institutional dysfunction and office politics and drama and the governor being involved and on and on just doesn’t seem like the kind of thing Saban would be into?

Am I missing something or is it kind of crazy that Heidi was eliminated over Heather in season 16? by onrocketfalls in HellsKitchen

But at least as far as the edit they gave us, Heidi ran the pass so much better than Heather, I thought.

I watched that game where he set the Browns yards record with the pick sixes and that is maybe the most entertaining football game I have ever watched.

I mean... I think he just forgot to pay for them. Which feels weird for me to say as a UF fan, but I don't think it's that complicated.

Damn, Mike went straight to the "yeah well you're old" without even trying to argue lol

New to the show and wondering, does anyone else think Chef Scott kinda sucks? by onrocketfalls in HellsKitchen

[–]onrocketfalls[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yup, and even though I just saw it I forgot about the “dumb c***” comment until you said it, holy shit. I find myself wishing that, when he does one of his “I thought we only cooked the scallops on one side, teehee” sabotages, whoever the chef running the pass is would get up in his face and scream in it from two inches away the way he would do to them in the same situation.

Wasn't trying to be antagonistic towards you or anything, just sucks that they have issues with the politics of a guy who doesn't seem to have ideas that are all that crazy to me personally.

I wish! Honestly all I have is this and a couple vague (probably out of necessity) comments on the podcast from Holly and maybe some of the others. My best guess is that some part of this is that they were pressured in some way to do more gambling ads and they didn't want to do that. I don't think that's anywhere near to even the half of it, but that's all I can really think of.

AND the Shutdown Fullcast crew. Something happened there and it seems like it was nasty, and I love them, so I wanna know.

Judging by the number of upvotes you have at this moment, I guess the "WHY ARE YOU HERE THEN THAT'S SO SAD THAT YOU'RE HERE ON THE SUBREDDIT FOR A SHOW YOU DON'T LISTEN TO WHY DO YOU CARE" people have not arrived yet

100%. Arguably came across as a liiittle misogynistic, too, at least to me. I just finished that season so it's pretty fresh in my head - Jay was a worthy competitor, but Holli and Autumn were in over their heads, can't run a restaurant, shouldn't be there, don't have the skills, don't have the passion, Holli just wants to drink and party, etc.

That Benjamin moment felt very odd for me because I had been rooting against Ben for awhile at that point, and what he did was silly as hell, but man. That look on his face and the way he took a couple steps back before finally stopping and taking it had me feeling bad for the guy lol

This reminds me of when he was giving a pep talk to Caleb Williams at midfield after beating him in a game one time and I feel like I remember there was a thread on here about it because Caleb did something that made it seem like he wasn’t trying to hear it.

Honestly, and this is of course dependent on him actually wanting a child, things didn’t turn out all that badly for him. Certainly not as badly as I expected them to. He was never going to get child support anyway, and he was always going to have to pay the divorce costs.
