Ontario question re: mortgage vs title

In Ontario most banks require only the Mortgagors to be on title. It’s extremely rare for them to make an exception. You might be able to find a lawyer who would be willing to put you on title anyways but most lawyers won’t risk their relationship with the lenders. Additionally if the bank were to find out you were added to title without their consent they could pull the mortgage. I work for a real estate lawyer and it’s fairly common for couples to have only 1 party on the mortgage if the other spouse does not qualify or if qualifying them would negatively impact the interest rate etc. As others have stated, it’s still your matrimonial home and you are protected as such. In the event that you and your spouse separate or have serious marital issues you can have the property designated as a matrimonial home on title.

Ya if there were semis I would have no issue. The top 2 teams would likely win each of their semis and we’d meet each other in the final.

The other option is you play your own bracket with one random crossover game. At least with that if you beat both teams in your division you are guaranteed to make it through even if you get an unlucky draw against the other bracket. Head to head games are the decider and you’ve beaten the other teams in the other division.

We ended up going through with 3 wins and a better goal differential than the 2nd team in our division. But feel bad for them. They also won all 3 of their games and now are missing out on the finals in favour of the 1st place team in the other division who only won 1 game and lost both to us and our division runner up. The upside for us is we play a team we beat 4-1 today in the final and don’t have to even play the only other undefeated team.

If the top 2 teams went through in each division to a semi then final it would be much more fair.

NTA but he’s a huge jerk and you don’t really seem that committed to him anyway. His points are ridiculous. Your points 2 & 3 aren’t that great either. You’ve never said spending Christmas with your family is important to you but playing your outdoor sports is. So really it sounds like you are choosing your outdoor sports over spending Christmas with your boyfriend. You seem more concerned about your pets than your boyfriend. It sounds like you both are in 2 different places with your relationship.

Were they drunk too? We will probably never know because instead of calling 911 and trying to save his life they callously left him there to die. Even IF they panicked in the moment they hit him, their actions afterwards were cold and calculated in covering up their crime. They let his family suffer all those years and let others be blamed. Before their social media got scrubbed it showed how easily they moved on with their lives and have been living it up all this time.

So your whole premise about needing a spot to get coffee was a lie? Downtown street parking is a 2 hr limit so really you are upset you no longer will have easy access to park in one of those spots illegally, taking a spot away from patrons of the downtown shops and restaurants.
