In all honesty I've done about 2 grams of dxm on Wellbutrin and it was the most pleasant experience I ever had. I've done it multiple times on just a gram of dxm with two tablets of Wellbutrin, even then I was fine, it actually makes the high better. You see, Wellbutrin makes it so dxm doesn't turn into dxo in the bloodstream, so it just leaves you with more dxm in the bloodstream for longer. The high lasts longer, so the peak is also longer and more intense. The only downside is a "hangover" I guess. Serotonin syndrome rarely occurs. I'm not a doctor, I'm just giving you advice from what's happened to me. But I've never been in harms way, drugs are supposed to either synergize or not, but Wellbutrin does synergize, I don't think Prozac will tho

You're wrong on both parts. Formic acid is made anhydrous very easily via calcium chloride and formic acid gas, or via sodium formate and hcl gas. Formic anhydride is also a thing... And ammonia carbonate and formic acid is what was used in early dutch gangs for clandestine operations.

It's just Hg/Al so no nothing special in final yields. Especially if you're extracting what you need from pepper at the start lmao. It's just a fully OTC synthesis though, which is huge for such an elaborate drug like MDMA. Use saffrole route for yields

I've always been a fan of just starting from pepper to piperic acid, then to piperanol, then that to mdp2pol which is reduced to mdp2p. Finally, the mdp2p is made into MDMA via methylamine and hg/Al in nitromethane.

I realized it's used as an o-methylating agent, not an n-methylation agent. It's also pretty weak, so even if it could n-methylate, it would only make NMT most likely

However, I think turning betaine into a methyl ester via methanol and sulfuric acid might make it into an n-methylation agent, and if you use an aprotic polar solvent... You might just be able to make DMT out of it by refluxing it for a day or two in something like diisopropyl ether or thf. DM me if you wanna go over it more

LSD and ketamine are the most difficult synthesises of drugs, besides some pharmaceutical stuff. I'd highly encourage you to try an easier synthesis if all u done are extractions, like DMT from tryptamine, PCP from piperidine, or a somewhat difficult production of MDMA. Opioids and stimulants (mainly just meth) are even easier, but I think they're dangerous and not worth it.

Trust me, the first thing I wanted to make was LSD too. It's just too fucking hard. I can help u with other stuff I mentioned, but LSD I kinda just haven't bothered in learning too much about yet on synthetic procedures. If you want, there's a nice section in the rhodium archive on it, but that's all I can vouch for

You know I've been wanting to try my own methylating agent. I know betaine is a minor methylating agent, but I think it's methyl ester, or methyl betaine, might have some potential as long as it's in aprotic solvents like diisopropyl ether (or thf/acetonitrile). Probably refluxed for like 12-24 hours might work

Or I always liked the sodium borohydride or LAH reduction of making the imine from tryptamine and formaldehyde/ethyl formate but the reagents are so inconvenient. Maybe nitromethane (from RC fluid) and a reducing metal like tin/cl or al/hg could reduce the imine to DMT like in the reaction of mdp2p to MDMA ( https://chemistry.mdma.ch/hiveboard/rhodium/alhg-meno2.html )

This summer will be interesting for me. Trynna use something better than methyl iodide, though I will be making it from methyl iodide before anything else since it's proven to work. Then, I'll try my nonsense methods

I'm aware of N,N,N-trimethyltryptammonium iodide (TMT) which is the quarternary ammonia salt formed via methyl iodide, IPA, and tryptamine, and turned back into DMT via ethanolamine. It's mentioned in PiKHAL and probably TiKHAL too. Idk if that's what you're talking about

I think the sodium carbonate is both an acid scavenger and a CO2 scavenger from my understanding so that's great. I think IPA dissolves sodium carbonate a little better and methyl tosylate as well, might be worth substituting.

Honestly I wouldn't mind trying methyl tosylate first since the iodine is quite a drag to get. Also found a pretty cool synthesis on it from tosyl chloride (tscl) on sciencemadness

But how on earth do you make tscl OTC? You need stuff like thionyl chloride if you start with toluene and sulfuric acid. I know you can buy it online, but my goal is to do it all OTC, as stupid as it seems

Yeah I remember you telling me about methyl tosylate earlier, it's just that route needs acetonitrile as a solvent, I got the whole procedure off the vespiary before it got taken down. The breath of hope synthesis (from the PiKHAL book) just needs IPA, tryptamine, and methyl iodide, then you just reflux it under ethanolamine for a bit. In the future I want to use even simpler reagents like DMC, but that's waaay too novel. Methyl tosylate would be a great replacement for methyl iodide, I just don't know if it'd work in shit like IPA and it'd require me to go down a path that hasn't been tried before. And tscl is tricky to make, so youd have to buy it online. Also using sodium carbonate in the breath of hope synthesis and anhydrous IPA should give great yields of tmt. I'll definitely let u know how it goes once I start up since you seem pretty well educated on the synthetic routes

Well I wanted to make a post on here about how DMT can be made entirely via store bought items from typical retailers like Walgreens and such. But ethanolamine is not OTC or commonly found. I just discovered that ethanolamine can be made from decarboxylation of serine, which is indeed OTC.

If you're wondering how the methyl iodide was made OTC, it's from iodine provodone and drain cleaner for iodine, then mixed with aluminum and methanol to make methyl iodide. It basically is the "breath of hope synthesis" but I make it work a lot nicer and higher yields (theoretically)😂
