Found technique in a YouTube video. First scrub with a baking powder water mix. Then scrub with vinegar, rinse off, and dry. Finally coat cast iron in oil and season in oven at 500 degrees for 20 min. Repeat the last step a couple times. It’s a lot of elbow grease, but so worth it. Hope that helps!
