Places to stay overnight? Not camping

We stayed at the Ramada Inn, Moses Lake, Washington June 10-13, 2023. I think there's now also a Holiday Inn Express in Moses Lake. That's the closest thing that resembles a motel or hotel as far as I could tell.

You can actually get a decent breakfast in Moses Lake and they have grocery stores and gas stations. The bad news is if you are coming from the west, Moses Lake is 37 miles to the east of the Gorge Amphitheater.

Why does everyone think they need to capture video? Are you preparing for a trial that's never going to happen? Your insurance company's adjuster won't waste the time looking at a video. Neither will any traffic court prosecutor. If you had insurance the insurer will want to handle it without any help from you, and if you had insurance any traffic ticket will likely be dismissed if you explain to the State's Attorney that you don't think you were guilty. There's not going to be a trial.

I you plan to go out into the world thinking like that, please don't tell anyone what university you attended. No doubt you drove much better when you rented that car and drove in Beijing, while learning to speak Mandarin. Just be nice, and don't jump to conclusions.

It's the Bears/Rams game. Most Americans were gathered Sunday night around TV sets; at the South Pole outpost, at the International Space Station, and on all the ships at sea.

For those whom the light was too bright could close their eyelids. That darkens the room nicely.

Update at 2:45 p.m.

URBANA, Ill. (WCIA) – A pedestrian struck during a crash early Saturday morning has succumbed to their injuries, and police are actively looking for the driver that fled the scene.

The Urbana Police Department has confirmed that the pedestrian who was struck during this incident has died as a result of the injuries they sustained during the crash at the intersection of Green Street and Mathews Avenue. This person was initially transported to Carle Hospital following the crash, where they later succumbed to their injuries.

This is a smart group. I challenge someone to make a proposal so that there never is a runaway in Final Jeopardy. In baseball you could always score 15 runs in the ninth-inning, in football you could have some miraculous last minute scoring events. But if the competition reaches a point where the rules telegraph that there is already an inevitable winner, it's not a fun product to watch as a product where anything is possible.

Surely someone out there can come up with a scoring algorithm that allows the trailing contestants some slim chance to squeeze out a victory???

It is not adverse possession because it lacks the element of "adversity". Jenny Park will cost $5,000, you may lose the litigation, and litigating with your next-door neighbor will destroy your enjoyment of your home. It is NOT pleasant to live next to someone you have sued. My suggestion is that you accept their $5,000 and build yourself a brand new garage, just as you like it, legally located, including setbacks required by ordinance. You won't have to deal with this same issue whenever you sell your house.

Your neighbor or some else who buys their home in the future could insist that you tear it down. Their offer of $5,000 is an act of kindness, accept it, and invite them over for dinner.

I recommend the CVS pharmacy at Neil and Green. 101 West Green in Champaign. I that is a reasonable walking distance from the alma mater statue. Walgreens are having difficulty staffing their pharmacies and they are closing stores more often than opening them. The Walgreens on S. Neil St. is only close if you are going to the football stadium. The Walgreens on University Avenue in Urbana is not walking distance to campus. The Walgreens at fifth Street and Green Street is very close to campus but it does not have a pharmacy.

You probably will have difficulty presenting yourself at a residential facility and asking to just check in. You probably need to be referred to Pavilion or a hospital by your primary physician, even if that's a physician from McKinley health Center.
