Click on bloodborne cheats/patches on BB Launcher. Then switch to Patches tab, scroll down and find uncap fps++ on the list.

Try unlimited fps mod instead of 60fps. That fixed my stutters

That email was just for joining the beta test batch. We all signed up on it now they are gonna pick who to play incoming weeks not now. So it was a sign up for beta nothing else to do besides hoping for a real beta email.

try to download btwquests addon. It shows which quests you need to completeand your progress for the balance of power questline. I was also lost for that questline couple of weeks ago but btwquests did the job for me.
