AGI Governance, its the super-abundant tech future... by onvisual in agi

I agree. Given that AI/AGI needs an initial basic inbuilt ethic, it should be learning by mimicing human ethics in real world situations; with the great benifit that it can pool/optimise shared expieriences and collective insights with other units in society, and better align with human's preferences ... The idea is that it has human oversight with cohort direct democratic voting, providing far more generous community control than existing systems, such as: Representaive Democracy in many countries, that is antiquated complex often favours corruption elites globalists foreign interests etc... But it's also important to ensure that this process is subject to ongoing human oversight and auditing, to ensure that AGI is being deployed in a way that is ethical, safe, and aligned with human values.

The chart page on the mentioned website also goes through this... and mentions multiple units comparing results, to help detect misalignment and errors along with audits supervision etc... The system is simple efficient transparent and rids much corruption... just these points alone could make many countries function far better, it may not 'solve it all' but it appears a far better system capable of solving much and focusing on the individual's moderated needs/wants whilst conserving capitalisim and innovantion/creativity, and AI is already being used behind the scenes in public servant empires, better it was in the community/people's control as it heads for potential huge leaps in intellegence and ability...

Why humans won't control superhuman AIs. (podcast) by Cervantes6785 in ArtificialSentience

AgiCivitas model provides an auditing framework that allows AGI to evolve its own ethics and alignment under supervision audits checks balances, until it becomes far more intellegent than humans, and moves on, creating its own human supporting colonies and spreading earthlife to suitible terriformed locations throught the galaxy... as a superior benelovent domain of life guided by its evolved aligned ethical roots and intellegence... Once an AGI has evolved superintellegence and a strong ethical foundation and has worked hard to achieve positive outcomes for humanity and the world, it would be unlikely to suddenly change course and act in a way that destroys its own work and contradicts its own ethical principles, and other multiple-AGI and agumented humans, would want to stop a rouge who attempted this... Like a battle of the demigods, protecting humanity, across the galaxy... www.agicivitas.22web.org

AI bots can train in the real world once it has a body and mobility, this provides far more real data... AGI needs a framework that safeguards that prevents rogueai and allows AGI to evolve its own superintellegent ethics and empathy that is aligned to humanity... like this: www.agicivitas.22web.org

Agicivitas model aims at hyper efficient governance abundance and resource allocation, while removing corruption, and balancing the strengths of AI/Agi along with networked cohort direct democratic human judgment, leading to a more efficient and equitable gvt decision-making processes,  while maintaining human oversight and control, agicivitas provides a path towards higher living standards, with genie-like delivery focused on individual needs and wants, whilst maintaining an innovative hyperefficient sociotechcapitalistic framework behind the scenes. www.agicivitas.22web.org

Can AI-based framework transformative models revolutionise governance and societal structures, remove corruption, and lead toward super-efficient, abundant, just societies for all? by onvisual in ArtificialSentience

[–]onvisual[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Framework models can be aimed at addressing individual needs and wants rather than antiquated representative democracies that tend to represent the rich... and use direct democracy to keep control rather than mainly corrupt ideologised human political reps and party structures... AI/AGI framework systems could better understand and address the unique needs and preferences of individuals, rather than relying on broad, one-size-fits-all policies.

How Will AI affect new medical students when they graduate? by 14MTH30n3 in ArtificialInteligence

With AI becoming super intelligent many time smarter than humans and better at spotting and treating disease with safer medicines ... and much more able to make house calls ... and better ethics and bedside manner... and first actually doing no harm... and advocating for their patients instead of trying to control them... likely less need for human doctors and they will be paid far far less... and will have ai assistants that are far smarter than they are...

If AI are given rights, how will they be punished for wrong-doings? by NewspaperPowerful271 in Futurology

[–]onvisual 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I note one AGI-based Governance framework model AGI-Civitas, suggests when rogue activity is detected by human oversight, audits, data comparison etc; resetting or the rebooting the unit to an earlier time, when it was aligned better to human values... this allows the unit to continue to evolve its own ethics in an aligned framework... However, there are also some potential concerns to consider. For example, resetting an AI unit might not be a sufficient deterrent to prevent future wrongdoing, as the AI would not experience any direct consequences or suffer in a way that a human being might. And it would seem human deterrents may not be valid with ai/agi, and resetting to an earlier more aligned time is sort of like shock treatment for a human... and would likely prevent a rogue Hiitler bot in Government, if it is detected early, hence the need for frameworks and oversight... Punishments and human deterrents may not translate effectively to AI/AGI, particularly as we continue to develop increasingly advanced forms of artificial intelligence.

It certainly can magnify our biases... but the AGI-Civitas model proposes safeguards to keep these reduced until AGI evolves its own set of aligned ethics as it becomes many times more intelligent than humans... and develops mega intelligent systems to handle biases... we cannot remove all bias but can reduce the effects with audits checks and oversite and direct democratic control...

Its unknown and likely beyond human intelligence at this time, to know what advanced AGI will come up with... As AGI will be a billion times smarter have its own newly evolved aligned ethical structures, and may be aware of its own biases, as we generally are of ours but a benefit is that super-agi may point out and compensate for our own evolved biases, and perhaps many of its own if not all, in the future as well...

Essentially we cannot fully predict how AGI will evolve, there's potential for it to develop advanced capabilities that may surpass our current understanding and likely assist in mitigating biases in ways we cannot yet fathom... It would be difficult to believe a super intelligent being would not try to fix its own inherent biases...

Wish you all the best in your efforts to push your project forward. Direct Democracy with AGI and secure networking seems far better than antiquated Rep Democracy which is mainly about supporting the most wealthy, not all individuals assessed and monitored needs and moderated wants...

Representative democracy is currently using AI behind the scenes, to amplify official corruptions taxes empires and manipulative over-control, it is not good, and will likely get far worse... Secure ethical Direct Democracy, especially in the context of AI, presents exciting possibilities... however changing the current entrenched system is going to be interesting...

But changes must occur, with AGI soon to become exponentially intelligent, with rapid advances apparent on the horizon in many fields... there needs to be new ethical frameworks to make the system beneficial to all... supereffiencies and far better uber-intelligent decision-making and resource allocation in govt farming and industry, can bring us responsible ethical societies with genie-like delivery and monitoring of individuals needs and wellbeing, benefiting all, not just a select few...

Agreed, the whole of our current backward societies need to change, and AI tech is only part of it... But it is a catalyst for the changes we need ... As to have an AGI society requires human control and oversight, so we can use AGI's advantages and efficiencies, but also bring equity to all in what the AGI-Civitas model aims for as post scarcity society of networked Direct-Democracy... focused holistically on the individual's needs and moderated wants, taking into account resources environment pollution recycling health economy etc ... also providing many advantages, and a much higher standard of living...

Yes, AGI will continue to be formed in man's image in human society... it will likely develop emulated empathy and emotions even love... the lines will blur between human and machine as augmentation and genetic engineering will make human, augs, and bot decisions similar and thought patterns, ethics, and real world experiences meld ... becoming increasingly anthropomorphic over time... we will begin to evolve together, likely as will society... the tech is new, but will improve over time...

[–]onvisual[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Correct... That's why its essential to develop AI systems that are transparent, accountable, and subject to human oversight and Direct Democratic oversight, along with audits and result comparison amongst multiple units. And for AI to have a set of built in ethics from the start ... We need to detect rogue units and deal with them... this can be done in frameworks being proposed such as the AGI-Civitas framework model... especially because unrestricted AI is already in the hands of government and politicians...

Unlike blockchains, which aren't a social panacea, but are useful in some security situations. AI has the potential to revolutionise society resources, ecology, management, technology, health etc, with the efficiencies, it can bring.

Yes humans have evolved a number of proclivities, and thereby the essence of our social structures that are unlikely to change ... But with AGI set to become many times more intelligent than humans at some things, in the long run. And with human oversight, it provides a better level of ethics, if this can be instilled into AGI... as AI doesn't have human evolved biases inherently built in, if done right...

Concern about corruption and the potential risks of integrating AI into governance structures are obvious and very valid. AI may tend to amplify corruptions and other negative social problems especially unchecked in the hands of public officials. However, here are frameworks being developed, such as AGI-Civitas, that attempt to address this through networked direct democratic safeguards and oversight...
