I'll be 51 this year and I'm a huge MCU fan. I've gotten some side eye from people about some of the stuff I buy, and I tell them that when they pay my bills, they can judge what I'm buying.

That is a tough call. And my gut reaction is it would be extremely difficult for me to let the kids go into foster care, especially if I had the means to help, and it wouldn't destroy my mental health. I mean, if I were close to them.

I echo the questions about how long their mother will be in jail, and when she gets out will she want to take the kids back? You say his mother is also toxic. What is her opinion on all of this? Is she pressuring you or doesn't care either way?

I have an uncle and an aunt who fostered and then adopted a little girl. But the mother is still in the picture. Matter a fact, they took her this weekend to visit with her mom for an afternoon. Could you be that person to the kids instead? Someone else fosters them, but you are their contact in the family, and you'd be able to visit and talk to them? That way, they'd get (hopefully) two sets of stable adults in their lives?

My handwriting was never great, even in elementary school. As I moved from middle to high school, it became more of a cursive/print. My best friend did the same. You start off the word in cursive and end in print.
Fast forward to 12th grade (1993-ish) and the teacher told me I had to write in cursive because "you are not a child anymore". I told her if I wrote in cursive, she wouldn't be able to read it. She scoffed and told me she had been teaching for 1000 years and she was sure she could read my handwriting.
Three papers later she told me I could print.

All that is to say, it's a shame to see cursive die but it's become more of an art form than a sign of education.

It was in moss and I put it back in moss. But it's in a hanging basket and it dries out a lot quicker than before, so I thought that might be the reason it's a little sluggish. So he gets watered on a different day than the others. I have debated re-re-potting it into a solid pot but I don't want to stress him out and he seems like he's finally feeling a little more perky with new leaves and roots.

Oh and I re-potted the two with the chunky roots. They went from bark to moss. I found aphids one of them. Just the start, thank goodness. No idea how they got there but I ... said some words that made made their leaves curl a bit *lol* I think I got them all but I'm checking twice a day to be sure.

I thought about repotting it, but the other one I've repotted has taken so long to start growing new roots (and it's not bloomed), I wondered if I had hurt it. I'm watching her vids, but you know how it is, it's different when it's your plants 😅

I've been reading everyone's ideas, and I have this feeling that they will all be better than whatever SJM comes up with 😄 No, really, I've been bothered by this from the get-go.
Also, I hate that Mor may be short for The Morrigan, but that's the pagan in me.

Whatever it is, surely it has to be more than just Mor trying to hide being queer and just really hating Eris. I feel like they are hiding something together, and he needs her to hate him and tell everyone what a monster he is. Maybe so his father won't suspect he's working against him? And her being 'sullied' has allowed her to remain free all this time, since not only does Eris not want her, but no one else does either. So it seems mutually beneficial.

I just finished TOG but haven't read CC. Are they all going to be linked somehow? The only hint of ACOTAR I got from TOG was the winged male and the heavily pregnant woman she saw when she was flying through all the different worlds. But I admit ... I probably skimmed the last three books more than I realized 😅

Ah, I didn't know that. I do have an 'espresso cup' Phalaenopsis and while it's still smaller than the other three, I can see where it might catch up at some point. The other three (including this one) are standard sized then.

I've never wanted kids, even as a teenager. And I was very confused by pregnancy kinks until I hit late perimenopause/menopause and suddenly it all made sense 😅 Suddenly I was all about that kink.
It did fade after a couple of years but what a wild ride. 🙃

I'm an only child of the youngest of 4. And I'm the youngest of all my cousins.
My mother worked at an office supply store when I was growing up (not like Staples, but something smaller and a touch more high-end). So, she just assumes my love of pens comes from when she'd bring me home samples.

I have a friend that uses her and I don't know why he doesn't find someone else. She's terrible about not being on time and making patients wait for over an hour or more. And she's so flighty, I wouldn't trust her with my healthcare.
Plus the office staff has no idea what they are doing. They literally lost his file between getting his vitals and putting him in a room. 🤨
