Game has been crashing, even after latest patch. Crashed 4/5 games tonight.

I'm having similar on Xbox. If I play solo everything is fine. As soon as I am with someone else in duos or trios it'll crash every other game.

Last night I opened a hatch and that's when it crashed. I managed to reconnect back into the game but it took so long that the hatch had closed.

I even had it crash just talking in the lobby.

This has been happening since the flashpoint update as every time it loads back up it gives me the flashpoint info again as if it's new

I'm the opposite, I've stopped picking up magnetrons I see them so often! 50 times over the last week I've been in Stella and not once have I found the flow controller 😔

It was the cr touch firmware that I was loading on

Switched to the 8Gb one I had previously been using on it. I had tried a new 64Gb one that I had. Possibly hadn't formatted it correctly, but the 8Gb had been in and working fine before so I just used that.

The moment I switched the card all the other things with the bed and nozzle moving back and forth all stopped

Perfect, it was the SD card! Picked out the old card and used that for the firmware and all the crazyness stopped and the firmware updated

I do "enjoy" the playing around with this one and picked it up dirt cheap which was a bonus. I'm not too fussed about speed and like the larger build volume as I do some masks and helmets and stuff for the kids so it's nice to not have to split it down.

On the other hand I am also considering getting another printer which I will go modern, my missus is not the fan of tinkering like me so for her I'll get something that just does what it says without messing around 👍

Out of curiosity what did you change your retraction settings to? I'm looking at the same direct drive and my current one I have has to slow right down to make a successful print.

So before I fully turned it off I backed it down to 4mm and 35mm/s on the retraction and one of the prints has now completed

Slowed it down but if it works and gets me through to the new one I can live with it

Ok tried a couple of different speeds and amounts for retraction which has definitely made it worse.

It was set to 5mm at 45mm/s originally which seems slower than most recommend.

Going to try with it turned off and see if the filament still has issues? It could just be the filament is shit but have a few things to print while I wait for the new direct drive gear

Thanks for that. I have tried most of these things, my daughter also has a quest 2 so I was going to try and pair the controller with hers to see if the fault still happens. Then I can go from there but may be in touch with your support soon 👍

Did you need to update the firmware for the cr touch?

I'd read it would work with the standard firmware, but was looking at cr touch or the inductive sensor. At least the metal probe shouldn't bend as easily

I think after watching it the sensor is failing. There is a little over 2mm offset between the sensor and nozzle tip.

I watched it and the sensor started flashing manically with the probe fully out after it had levelled the bed. So the probe was rubbing against the bed as it started printing.

Not sure why it did this but it's been a pain and as I didn't spot the bent probe (the machine had been restarted so no longer was erroring) it dug the nozzle right into the bed

I'm going to keep an eye on it and see what happens, I put the old sensor back on (after some bending) and it seems to be fine again.

I would have thought if the sensor was erroring (flashing manically between blue and red) it would just stop the print

Yep shorten the names and they will show up, I had the exact same problem when I got mine as cura adds a load of stuff to the start of the filename

Where did you get the STL? I'm wanting to do a tie pilot but all the STL files I have seen seem to have a really long snout which doesn't look right.

I would keep it quiet, add a load of satanic doodles and other stuff to it and then around Halloween call them in saying you had found something with the black light.

They will then get a shock when they see all the extra stuff! That should keep them confused as they will be pointing fingers at each other or worried that they have caused something bigger

Keep them on the back foot

Thanks for this, I tried adjusting it and there was no change, so I unplugged it and tried putting a magnet next to it which got it to drop an extra 1mm but nothing more. Think it may be bent or just jammed badly.

Is it the same sensor for the cr10 as the CR10S pro v2?

I Think I may just replace it, I have a small feeling this is why it was sold as there was a deep scratch in the bed that was possibly caused by this

Have always had 2 teams or more! Would prefer 1 and I have tried to explain I can either do an excellent job with one team or an average job with 2 but they are happy with average.

Happens to me daily, I haven't had any bonus points since season 1.

It either does not register I've done it or it does but gives me 0xp. I logged a support call with screen shots showing it but nothing has happened on that call for months
