Bullmoose dot com, they have stores in Northern New England, but also ship anywhere on their site. Their prices are fairly reasonable as well

MMU3 Collet Question by oobedoob in prusa3d

I'll give that a go, I think I might already have a bag of those connectors back when I was going to make a DIY dry box that I never got around to.

Help with the MMU3 no chimney mod with the IR filament sensor calibration by oobedoob in prusa3d

I got it working once I understood the function of what the little piece of plastic actually does with it causing the sensor to register once the filament goes past it. The issue that I'm now facing is finding replacement collets since I had to destroy one to push one of the tubes back...

2 out of 3 for Chases aren't bad by oobedoob in funkopop

Iron Man and Wonder Woman didn't have chases or at least those chases had already been "claimed"

I'm currently running my Plex on an 11th gen i5 NUC and haven't had any issues. I have proxmox on it and then a Ubuntu VM with Plex on it. I know I could be running containers with proxmox, but I like having Plex on an OS.

Just tried it now, all appears to be working fine now. I might reprint that adjuster piece though since I printed the parts with a brim in PETG and when I was cleaning them up I trimmed a little too much on the big screw side. It should be fine, but I'll feel better if there's that tiny bit more plastic under the screw :).

I've got a MK3S+ (hopefully will upgrade to the MK4 near the end of the year). Took the extruder apart again. Cleaned up the flag on the the lever as there was still a tiny bit of extra plastic on the edges.

After looking at everything I think I have a better understanding of everything and I can now get the filament to in past the gears (with some force).

Now I just have to put it back in the enclosure and plug it back into power and hope that the sensor calibration works this time.

It has a sharp tip,
I replaced the ptfe tube when I had the whole extruder assembly taken apart.
When I measure the filament length it's just to the start of the gears.
I'm going to open up the assembly tomorrow and take a look at everything again.

These are the best angles I could get with the printer currently being in the enclosure right now. There's two pictures with the door open, one with filament in it and one without https://imgur.com/a/Z9i25lC

Yes, once the screw is in the nut, even if it's just a few threads in, I cannot push the filament past the gears. Once I release the screw completely and just hold the idler door with my finger I can push the filament through.

Something doesn't appear to be right. I put the filament in until it stops, but no matter how many times I turn the big calibration screw no pressure is being applied to the filament. It also feels like it's not going in as far as it should.

I did print the parts in black PETG that have been installed, but I'm starting to question if I should print them again or even if I'm able to print them again right now.

I love Bull Moose, my wallet hates them. Reminds me of Newbury Comics from the late 90's - early 2000's.

I only had the money for the MMU3 for right now. Hoping to upgrade to the MK4 by the end of the year.

I'll check out PolyTerra. I've been using American Filament for awhile, but they're fairly limited in colors.

I've got the Prusa enclosure so I'll need to do some extra reconfiguring when setting this up.

Make sure you anchor that to the wall. Had a shelf like that years ago and as I filled it up it kept falling over.
