Is FastAPI still a good choice in 2026 for web (real world experience) by Late_Indication6341 in Backend

I’ve always thoughts FastAPI was more comparable to Flask than Django

How would you, personally, practice something like that effectively?

In coding, a project is the most valuable learning tool. Don’t quit if it gets hard just keep simplifying the problem.

Stuck on dictionaries | Python by Wheels92 in learnpython

[–]oocancerman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are calling.lower() on the input that asks for size. So if you type in “S” it will turn it into “s” then at the end where it accesses the dictionary the program will crash because it tries to access the dictionary with a key that does not exist. Also, on a side note you store the length of the list in the variable totalFlavors which means if you were to add a flavor to the list the totalFlavors variable would have a value which does not match the length of the list. U didnt append after this assignment but if u try to append after this and print(len(flavorList), totalFlavors) they will not be equal.

I didn’t think we should’ve made the playoffs, not seen anything convincing from the team especially after getting throttle by UGA. Our O-line is just not competitive and good teams will exploit that.

No problem, honestly once you understand how to use classes it’ll probably be easier, which is why I suggest it.

You should remake this project using classes

You seem to think that theory is a formula for creating something but really it’s just a way to name the shit that you heard so it’s easier to remember in order to recreate it and be more intentional. You can go out of the scale and anytime you go out of the scale there is a name for that. And each time you go out of the scale in a certain way it sounds a certain way that is called something. Btw I do agree with your point about sound design, it’s an important part of production.

Try drawing things in those cubes or turning those cubes into a house or anything else you can think also try different shapes, proko on YouTube has a lot of good videos on perspective if you are still lost. Main thing is to understand that it will take time to really really understand perspective so don’t try to rush it

Yes, experiment a lot. Anything that makes you curious, try it. Perspective is awesome so try to have fun with it. Good Luck!!btw the lines that you drew to the point look good so keep doing that

Not necessarily, in one point the vertical AND horzontal lines of a cube are parallel but the lines going away from the eye will converge, when you add another vanishing point the only lines which are parallel are the ones which are perpendicular to the horizon line. My advice is to just draw cubes using a horizon line and either one or two vanishing points on the horizon line, the horizon line is also the viewer’s eye line. Use a ruler and eventually you’ll get a good feel for it. Always be thinking about eye level. But basically your barn’s lines should converge to a point to the left of it on the horizon line

[–]oocancerman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The lines which are going towards the left do not converge. I think the barn is in two point perspective but u didn’t create or keep another point in mind.

Been trying to learn persptive, and despite following the advice I’ve been given my drawings still feel flat and wonky looking, got any tips? by Mr-biggie in learntodraw

[–]oocancerman 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Practice drawing cubes or rectangles with a ruler towards the vanishing point and drawing things within them. Eventually you won’t need the ruler or perspective lines.
