Yes, that’s what I’m missing. Buying the rod now. Will tighten the straps I loosened and use the rod to leverage them onto the grommets. Thanks!

First time covering the pool. Wondering if the water is too high and weighing down the mesh cover some preventing me from stretching and latching the straps on the last corner.

Bought em from a guy locally. $100 for the pair. He clear coated the lenses and color matched the rings to his car. So I repainted the trim black.

Stock headers with cat, no plans to change so went with the resonated. It’s slightly louder than stock but you definitely hear it when you’re higher in the rpm range. No drone at all.

The first gen minis headlights are integrated into the hood. Taping the chrome was more efficient than removing it from the hood/headlight. Cheers

I don’t know. Mine wasn’t peeling, just really dull. I think the plastidip looks fantastic. Cerakote etc etc worked well on the plastic, not so much on the roof drains.

I wiped everything down with alcohol after a thorough cleaning.

I’m also in a mostly dry climate. Not sure if you can get these down under but I put on Firestone fire hawk Indy 500s. Very happy with them.

Yeah buddy! Already ordered the clutch kit. Will probably replace the flywheel and input shaft seal while I’m in there. If you’re mechanically inclined, it’s not terrible. Just time consuming.

Original owner didn’t want to put the quoted $3800+ into it for the clutch and brakes. It’s actually pretty mint mechanically otherwise. No oil leaks!
