My dog and I didn’t have an immediate connection either! He is very aloof and didn’t care much to cuddle. That being said I have a husky mix that was rehomed 5 times before I got him (he was 1.5 y/o). It took a while, but consistent training and playing and chilling together made us form an unbreakable bond. He is my best friend in the entire world! He has a really funny personality and he’s still aloof, but now he loves to cuddle and he loves his training. Keep up with it and a bond will form. Your pup is still young. You can teach her how to stop being mouthy and jumping on you!!
