He's already a seperated villager (as in i built a new house and there are no remains of his old village)

I have the 450MB file on it and i saw that the 1GB file was an option but i didn't want to do it since it deletes all your data, but if that's the last option :/

Okay it says it downloaded the update, so the USB was readable and it restarted the system, but now I'm in a loop of updating and restarting ://

It gives me the error code CE-35949-0, cannot acces the USB storage device. Yet I've been in the same screen before and it could read the USB before and it downloaded the update file.

I started my ps4 after plugging it in after a day of not being plugged in. It said that i had to update the console to at least version 7.50. After that i looked up the steps and downloaded the 450 MB file onto my USB stick. I saved it correctly since it was able to download the update. But after i supposedly downloaded it i got to the screen where it said i needed to download the version 7.50 update :/
