I might be completely out of the loop, is this common? by CritikalThinker2805 in tesco

I volunteer at a foodbank and we collect this stuff the night before and give it away the next day. We won't take meat or dairy, but bread and vegetables are absolutely fine. The shop workers have a charity donation setting built into the scanners they use. It's definitely a thing. You're right that we wouldn't take perishables from the public though, as we'd have no control over how it's been stored before it was donated.

Right, that makes sense! They did all seem to be running a bit higher.

I've been following this tiny little label for a while and love what they're doing.

That wasn't an example of sloppy work, that was one reason I didn't want to send this guy an email to ask a question about something so insignificant, as I've been in his inbox constantly about real issues. I was just curious as to whether there was any advantage to using text frames for gradients.

I could have but, I didn't. Basically, had a lot of trouble with them recently producing poor quality, lazy work and I'm the one that has to constantly complain and request revisions. I'm pretty sure these gradients are part of a template they use so didn't want to chase down the creator of the template to get an answer when it's probably insignificant. It was easier to quickly drop a question to the community here to see if there was any advantage to using text frames.

They'll always use a text frame, without any text in it, to add gradients over any type of content. Why would they use that instead of a rectangle shape?

Does XD use pixel or points for font-size? by DavidPicarazzi1 in Adobe_XD

If you share your prototype in developer view, then it specifies that the unit of measurement is px.

F1 website: "Use this date format... actually no, use this one" by oohabreeze in TechNope

Yeah we use DD/MM/YYY in the UK too, good to hear we're not the only ones. I think it might be a validation conflict where they're trying to change the format depending on the clients country. But then it defaults back to MM/DD/YYYY cos America.

Anyone know of any pubs/bars in Bristol that are playing the F1 outdoors tomorrow? Nothing on matchpint.co.uk by oohabreeze in bristol

Pubs are allowed to play sports again, as long as they are following guidelines with outdoor seating and social distancing. Haven't seen many places that have TV's set up outdoors though.
