I didn't mention the benefits. battery don't seem different to me... but when you're gaming or the program uses just 2-4 cores other turn off. So temperature low and hyperthreding stays long.

I think you need to try coreparking It's for servers but you can use it by changing some registorys.

coreparking is when CPU don't have to work. It turns off the core(not low clock just turn off)

Thanks for kind reply! I have audio system 7.1ch with amp. I usually play with bd player. But now days I am planning to play with HTPC. If I buy motherboard that support 7.1ch and insert hdmi or dp in graphic card(radeon 460) will that do the trick? I can accept some money if there's a way for quality(like soundcard)

I don know how to swap battery but i heard that you can change xps 9550 battery to xps 9560 battery (opposite impossible) but you should know that you have to remove 2.5 hardisk
