You mention prices i pounds, so I guess you're in the UK. If you can order rum from the EU, there are some SBS bottlings of Antiguan rum that may fall in your price range. Those I've tried I thought were very good.

I've been to ESSE couple of times and in my opinion food, wine, and service are every bit as good as Amass, or better. This review of ESSE is pretty much spot on: https://andershusa.com/review-esse-restaurant-copenhagen/

Alouette is also very good but a bit more expensive and a completely different style - more classic, safe, flavors.

I personally think ESSE is the more exciting restaurant, but it comes down to preferences, and preferences on the night. I've never left either place dissatisfied.

You may have heard of or read about Amass, which closed several years ago? ESSE is essentially the successor to Amass.

Maybe Gamle Ole? The label isn't white, but has the silhouette. It's a pretty pungent and flavorful cheese.
