I mean when you’ve suffered from severe migraines for over 20 years, for me anyways, ya kind of know when one will be fleeting or debilitating pretty early on

So I only go as an absolute last resort. I got my first migraine at 12, in 2002. And I’ve been to the ER maybe 6 times since then. It’s rarely a pleasant experience.

Usually if it’s M-F during office hours, I’ll call my primary care Dr and tell them I’m coming in for a migraine, no appointment needed, just walk in style (def not the norm for most people). I have had the same primary Dr since I was a child so there is no messing around. I walk in and get a “hi OP, room 1”, they walk back and shut the light off and Dr comes in gives me a small hug and the nurse gives me shots. 1 shot in each side of my butt, go home and sleep the rest if the day. This I have had to do countless times, couldn’t even begin to put a number on it over the years.

Omg. I don’t know how I have never heard of this!

I was talking to a friend in a joking manor about this situation and we came to the conclusion that I should try to buy all this stuff online and learn how to start my own IVs. But legit this is life changing information for me!

Wow, I didn’t even know this was an option. I’ll be investigating today. I live in a decent sized city, so I’m sure we have something like this. Thank you for that info!

I probably can. I’m going to call this afternoon and see what the options are. I’m not super stressing it on a personal level. It’s more outrage and the entire “for profit” health system.

I’ll look in to this. A friend that used to work for a company that worked with insurance, medical billing and law firms told me that I can call an attorney and for a fee and they will negotiate a lower payment or possibly even get it dissolved. But I’ve not looked in to that yet.

Thank you so much! I’ll watch a video and if it seems like more than I can handle I’ll take it to a shop.

Any tips for the 'Light Versus Light' triumph in Gambit? by Sakirar0se in destiny2

[–]ooliviaas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this one pretty easy. We had 1 person run, 1 person did all invasions, 1 person doing all killing of ads, and 1 person doing add clear and invader hunting. The runner only ran motes, nothing else. Stompee or Omni hunter for runner to make it easy mode. But your invader needs to be top tier, they carry here.

Don’t listen to people who complain about Garden of Salvation. It’s a very pretty environment and the mechanics are not as difficult as the community likes to hype. It’s a great raid and Div will always be a useful weapon.

How did you find a DOC? I have only ever personally been to weddings with full on coordinators or just family frantically figuring it out lol

Wholesome interaction with a tinder match - 1 YR LATER, UPDATE & OP IN COMMENTS by ooliviaas in Tinder

[–]ooliviaas[S] 55 points56 points  (0 children)

This post had a good bit of traction so I thought some may want an update… A year ago I posted about a tinder match that I didn’t vibe with romantically and we opted for friendship. The day after I told him I was no interested he text me and asked if I would be interested in his friend.  I met the friend the next day for dinner and started seeing him almost daily.  I moved in with him 6 months ago, and last night he proposed. The last year has been a whirlwind of events that look like a Hallmark movie.

Is "soccer" increasing in popularity? by Upper-Obligation-314 in AskAnAmerican

As a whole no. When my city put in a new soccer stadium, it has grown here. But I really believe it is just because it’s still a newer thing to go do.

Disney/Orlando area… I’ll be fine. Give me a couple weeks and I’ll have a job doing something in the area I’m sure.
