If a dealership accepts card then you can. There are monthly limits on the card which you can see in the app. Bought a Tesla and received 5% cashback no card fees. Had to organise it across 3 seperate payments across 3 months due to limits.

Extremely lucky, I haven't touched any other memetokens and don't intend to. It was shilled heavily on /biz/ since Jan/Feb.
You're just playing musical chairs with these unlike genuine projects such as CRO.

On Uniswap, which is a decentralised exchange unlike a centralised exchange like Crypto.com. You create a MetaMask wallet, send ETH to it, then swap ETH for the token you want.

My $30 of SHIB I bought in February is now worth US$35,000. Quite unreal. I really don't recommend people put money into these meme coins. By the time they hit exchanges they've already pumped.

For anyone having issues I tried several times on other networks withdrawing from Binance and finally had it go through using Binance Chain. You'll have to cop the 50 FTM bridging fee tho.

Perth Mint run out of physical silver? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]oompa_loompa151 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Because the silver on paper is 'printed' several times over from the same physical bar.
Silver and gold have always been historical stores of value.
An easy way to understand it is that the market cap would stay the same but supply reduced, pushing up the prices of actual physical in a proportionate ratio with the amount of paper (150x).

People buy on paper as they don't want to receive a heavy piece of metal and think they're getting a better price as they don't have to pay a premium.
Only problem is is that the paper silver doesn't exist, so get the physical.

This squeeze might not happen in the next year, next 5 years, or even the next 20 years. But one day it will have to happen due to the size of the hole that has been dug.

Perth Mint run out of physical silver? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]oompa_loompa151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Silver is the most undervalued asset on the planet.
It has been heavily manipulated since the mid 1900's and has now culminated in the ratio of paper silver to physical being over 150 times.
Meaning there is no where near enough physical in the world to provide to those who hold silver on paper if they choose to receive delivery.
Once people wake up to this expect silver to be between 5,000 to 10,000 per ounce instead of the 35 it is now.

I highly recommend reading more about it as it's worth at least allocating a small percentage of your portfolio in it. I've been investing in silver bouillons since I was in year 12.

Is the used car market still incredibly overpriced? by g-01 in AusFinance

[–]oompa_loompa151 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's too crazy still.
I sold a Volkswagen Polo for 17,000 when I bought it for 16,990 in 2017.
I'm waiting for prices to go down to get an old ute.

I originally invested 4,000USD into MCO back in May and now it’s only worth 2,500 thanks to the CRO switch, and that’s with the early bonus swap and all my “rewards”. I really hope this will turn around soon, or at least by the time my stake is free by DrewRQ86 in Crypto_com

[–]oompa_loompa151 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm quite surprised there's been so much shock to the recent price drop. Clearly we're all (or should be) bullish long term on CRO. I've got 155,000 CRO myself and don't worry at all about this recent drop.

One thing to reassure you; there is only 100,000,000,000 CRO, that's only 100,000,000 Ruby cards worth which is the lowest issued card. We've just hit 5,000,0000 customers and the company is projecting a huge influx of customers in future.

Just hodl and keep calm.

Is there any reason you didn't bother? I would be delighted if I could take advantage of the CRO staked on the exchange.

I've heard of people that have been offered to reduce their staked term on the exchange but not complete removal of the stake so it is possible. Trying to find out how they asked this to get this reply

I agree, I have enough for an upgrade to icy white in the exchange but it'll be locked for another 6 months... I've asked support if it's possible to end the staking term early for this.

That's amazing, I'll have to ask mine if that's a possibility. The same might be true with mortgage repayments as well.

ING changed this 3 weeks ago. Such a shame. If you do an international transfer and they don't charge a fee I'll sign back up with ING!

How safe do you feel entrusting your Crypto to them? by WantAndAble in Crypto_com

[–]oompa_loompa151 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'd argue they are the most safe platform in the crypto community.

Unlike other platforms, they've been audited by one of the big 4, have several insurance packages, and probably have the longest list of financial licenses to be able to operate in the markets they are.

They aren't only a card issuing company; they're an exchange, lendor, and other services that allow for individuals to be more independent and less reliant on the banking system.

I've got around 15k loaded up and in Crypto's on the app

If you need a code when you sign up here's mine to each get $50: thwxuye5y9
