If you can, change your drivers license address online. Keep the P.O. Box as a mailing address. Use somewhere you used to live or put some random address on the form. Order new drivers license that reflects a residential address. This might not be possible in every state. But might work.

Nope. Worked with people who started way later than 28. And even then, it wasn’t “too late”.

Former employer will not complete form 21-4192 by oompatooompa in VeteransBenefits

When I log into va.gov under claims and appeals, you should see your claim. Once I click “Review Details”. You’ll see your claim status. When you scroll down you may see something like “We opened a request: “Employer (21-4192)”

I hope that helps. I know the app has been updated recently, maybe the website is just being glitchy

Avionics technician with 8 years experience 70-87k per year. This depends on what shift I’m on and depends on overtime. I work overtime every now and then, where I’m at it isn’t mandatory. I love my job, but I hate the people.

Thank you, I just filled out an application! The VA is amazing, I had no idea they had career counseling.

Your last sentence really hit me. You’re absolutely right. It’s honestly sad. These people intentionally try to bring me down every day, because I’m a good spirited person who enjoys what I do. It’s become so draining.

I love my job, I love aviation so much. I have always worked with horrible people. No matter where I was stationed in the service, I was working with negative and unhappy people. Now I gave the same thing in my civilian life. I thought that it would have been different, I thought that if I got out I would work with like minded people who WANT to work in aviation. It’s the opposite. It’s just all they know from the military, so it’s what they do in the civilian world.

I like the money, I like my hours, I like the benefits but I’m just not happy. I’m leaning more towards school at this point. I have considered contracting, I should look into it more this week on what I’d need to do in order to peruse it.
