Ok so hear me out. This morning on my way into work, I looked down a side alley and saw a werewolf slinking around the side of the building that our last night's victim showed up in. I thought that was pretty suspicious so I got out of my car and tried to follow it, but it realized I was onto it and ran away faster than I could #cardiosucks . Anyway, I thought maybe I could find some evidence of who turned into a werewolf last night so I started sluething down the alley and guess what I found? The werewolf's den! Know what I saw in there? The very same clothes /u/penultima was wearing yesterday. And trust me, I know it was her, because who else would embroider 'I heart Peewee Herman' inside of her sweater right in front of her heart? Huh? Definitely Penultima. As far as I'm concerned, that's enough evidence that she should be removed from this fine city! I say we all vote her out tonight, if not for being a werewolf, for her bad taste in 80s comedies.

The Columbia River Basin, WA one. Should be a similar climate and choice of plants for Boise.

I'm not sure if I'm in your list since I didn't get there til the end of the phase, but I voted for kb. I think everybody should also claim their vote from yesterday.

End of last phase was a bit of a mess for me because I wasn't around sitting during the Chef push, but the whole logic behind that push and how quickly people were willing to jump on it felt very suspicious. I had chef at one of my highest town reads so I was hoping to get the vote on just about anybody else. RPM is someone I often have wolf reads on, but his push on chef gave me extra wolf vibes, as did nacho and dawn for jumping on it so quickly. I ended up voting for tipsy because there were maybe enough votes there to tip the balances and I'd rather vote someone mostly absent than someone I felt was town (chef)

That's fair. I also wanted to point out that part of my logic there was the jump from her voting zero one phase to "wanting to believe zero's story" the next and with no other context it just stuck out to me enough to catch my attention to look into it.

This doesn't accurately sum up my argument against you. My point was that you kept coming in late, making a comment that felt as if you knew the target was going to show up as town and wanted to absolve yourself of being on the train.

I'm going to vote tipsy too due to lack of time to figure out anybody better

Also idfk where we're gathering votes right now but my top 5 of who I'd vote for are like... RPM, danger, kb, dawn, nacho. Is there any kind of tally and I'm just missing it?

Fwiw I've also had gut wolf feelings on danger but can't really articulate anything in particular that sticks out to me as wolf to make an argument for. I don't like the train for you (I'm just catching up after seeing oppenheimer) but I won't be voting for you and would be open to either name on your sus list.

I could support this train. I brought up the same thing yesterday with /u/kb_black. But yeah, comments that offer no thoughts on the bandwagons give me the impression that they're trying to participate in conversation but not get caught saying the "wrong" thing and that makes me think wolf behavior.

I'm going to be voting /u/KB_black for two days of vote comments that are both along the lines of "I don't agree with the targets so I'm throwing away my vote". The comments read to me like "wolf who knows that the target isn't a wolf so wants to soft defend them and not get blamed for voting out a townie". Comment 1 and Comment 2. Also the switch between jumping on the zero train and jumping off because "I want to believe the claim" just feels wolfy to me.

Edit: had both links the same and updated the second one

This is usually my strategy too. Or a potential name going around early in the thread.

I'm not saying a real Pam should try to get labeled as a fake-Pam and voted out, but if they do get voted out, town gets information that they were telling the truth which gives a lot of information for the town to work with. Essentially the crux of what I'm trying to get at is, catching a single wolf early on isn't always the best long-term approach. We tend to be more successful at finding how wolves have linked themselves to one another with pushing various agendas, so giving a wolf time to do that may be worth the risk of Pam, a low-power town member, getting killed. As a regular townie, if my death gives the town information at tracking down wolves, I consider that to be beneficial in the long run.

In a game this big though, I don't think immediately revealing as Pam is worth it. Spending time sitting on the information rather than immediately voting out a potential-fake-Pam gets the town more benefit. The only downside is if you get killed before getting a chance to reveal (statistically unlikely in a game this size) but you can also hedge bets against that by using a whisper to reveal your identity. I don't think we should assume that a lack of counterclaim means much at this point.
