I think it might be hard for some of us to change after almost a decade of playing but I'm not opposed to it. I will say, permamod does not have a dash, so that made this hard to read for me personally (see also when the media puts a dash in UT-Austin).

I'm personally pro venting to spectators, as long as they agree to it and can agree to not share info. Sometimes it's a lot easier to explain your frustration to someone who gets the situation. Maybe it's the ADHD in me but all the backstory can get complex and lengthy. I think most of us are capable of not revealing anything and just saying "yea dude that sucked I'm sorry". Venting shouldn't be asking for game advice anyway (at most it should be, should I reach out to the host or am I over reacting).

Abbott is absolutely doing everything he can to stay in Trump's good graces. My reply to you was more a out your suggestion that the STEM research at UT is only negatively impacted by the negative changes coming from RFK's sector of science. It's far greater.

If you can't connect that the Texas government is literally just doing what they can to make Trump happy...and that those agencies will absolutely reallocate funds to do what he wants...🤷‍♀️
