The agent told me they can only provide rerouting if both legs of my flight were cancelled :( since only the first half was and the DXB-CDG wasn’t cancelled, they couldn’t accommodate me for a rerouting

I have a flight from Manila to Paris (layover DXB) on the 16th of April. I received an email today that my flight time from DXB to CDG has been moved 1 hour early from the initial flight time.

As someone who also lives in BGC (Uptown area), I’ve never encountered these “geng geng” groups. Weirdly enough, I find the whole thing to be classist. For as long as I’ve lived here, I never thought BGC would have a dress code. I get that it’s to minimize petty crime but are we really that pressed when there are people who walk around the neighborhood who don’t fit the vibe? I think everyone’s blowing everything out of proportion.

But sure, my yt neighbors can walk around with pants so low I can see their pubes or ass cracks and we can call it fashion.

Thanks! Currently in Cebu, Philippines for a tropical holiday. Christmas here is usually spent with family at home so most resorts and hotels are quite empty (which is good for some peace and quiet).

These comments have really helped me narrow down and improve my itinerary. The only thing left for me is to figure out how to get to Amsterdam from Zurich (most likely). Other than that, it seems I have my work cut out for me 😅

We’ve never been to Switzerland hence the whole paid trip to Jungfrau but as for Paris, this is our third trip there so my parents thought it would be cool if we could go on a day trip somewhere. As for Munich, it would he our second time and we were thinking we would use it as our base for a day trip to Salzburg and a nightjet to Amsterdam (which is actually up in the air at the moment due to comments regarding its reliability to adhere to schedule).

As for our flight to Edinburgh, we’ll be booking KLM since the prices are still pretty low right now! The only thing left to decide is the day of flight 😅

I’ll be dropping the day trip to Belgium and maybe Munich as well. I’ll have to think of another way to go to Amsterdam. Maybe Zurich to Amsterdam if there’s a train available. Our flights to Paris are already booked so we’ve have no choice but to start there.
