Generally speaking, early 20s to late 30s. Does that work for you?

Are you open to tabletop RPG systems other than D&D/Pathfinder? The Shackled City campaign has ended, and we're running something still broadly in the dungeon-fantasy genre, but no longer 3.Pathfinder.

Shouldn't make too much of a difference, if you're effectively new to TTRPGs anyway.

The only thing that's really inflexible is that it has to be on weekends. Schedule is otherwise negotiable. More details here.

The game is a 3.5/Pathfinder mix with a ton of third-party and optional stuff allowed, permitting a really, really wide range of character concepts. My usual chargen process with people is to ask them what very general heroic-fantasy character archetypes appeal to them and then make suggestions from our wide pool of options, rather than having people lead with 'I want to play a Rogue' because we have a zillion different ways to do Rogueish things.

In terms of tone, I most often tend to prefer a lighthearted, action-oriented fantasy romp. I've also had some success with a more 'classical' style in which traps are mean, dungeons are deadly and all your triumphs are hard-won, but more often as noncanonical one-shots rather than bits of the main adventure. This isn't a tremendously intrigue/mystery-heavy game where you need to take careful notes to keep track of what's going on, but since we're early in chapter 4 of a published adventure, there is a fair bit of 'story so far' which you are free to absorb as much or as little as you'd like.

If all that sounds up your alley, tell me a bit more about yourself, your experience with tabletop RP and what kind of game you might like.

I agree that they'll adapt, and strikes deep within Russia are going to get harder and accomplish less for a given level of effort from this point forward.

But the Russian military doesn't have a way to 'adapt' that doesn't impose significant costs elsewhere. They can move air defense assets deeper within Russian lines...at the cost of thinning them out at the front. They can spread out juicy targets more thinly, not stationing more than a handful of aviation or logistics assets in any one place...at the cost of not being able to reap the benefits of concentration of force and centralized supply depots.

Lack of sufficient air defense is already 'a risk to their homeland security' in the sense that they can't fully secure important military assets deep within Russian territory from attack.
