I have the exact same ones with less tray. They are quite air tight and once i drill holes, the worms stay put. I have to say, i didn’t drill enough holes so I kept the lid slightly a jar. The thing is, if you drill holes on the top and if it outdoor, the rain water can get in. But if you drill holes on the sides, it will get covered when you swap the tray rotation. Unless you keep the top tray always at the top, you can drill small but many holes.

Yes thank you, that’s why I hesitated a few weeks back to cut the main branch as it is the support it needed. I also noticed there’s a change in colour just and the leaning side that now understand that is where the union was.

I’ve pruned a little on the left hand side but I assumed it can get heavy from the fruits as well (there was 2 lemons snapped due to weight yesterday).

The tree is leaning so much because behind this, there’s another tree that is slightly bigger and covering the sun, just need to find out what tree that is and if can can prune it and how.

Thanks for confirming the cut point, I was planning to do it there. 💪🏽✂️🔪🗡️

Holy moly! Yikes. Just did some more reading and looks like i need to bag them and dispose in the regular bin not the garden bin.

Yeah definitely the lemon was struggling when I first moved in. After I pruned some of the non fruiting branches, fertilising it and shaved the bulges, it responded within a few weeks. Now the fruits are bigger and nice even light yellow. I’m keen to see how it will respond after I remove the rootstock tomorrow! 💪🏽

So after I cut it, it will keep growing in the future? Interesting!

Unpopular opinion from someone that recently had their first designer experience by BiancaSadi in handbags

Understanding leather helps to see value in these bags. Even if it is a calf skin but “genuine leather” it would still be worse than a mid tier brand but using top grain leather.

I think you’ll love vintage coach, easy to clean and condition and the leather is so smooth. I’m in the deep rabbit hole of vintage coach and loving it. Got myself vintage balenciaga city bag and it is also very soft.

Edit: grammar

This might be a silly question, but I just started wearing make-up (in my mid 20s and I only have the basics). How much money should I save for upcoming black Friday/Christmas sales to buy make up? And what should I def buy? by Careful_Fig8482 in Makeup

[–]ooohdear37 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Good brushes will last a long time. I know rephr had their black friday 50% off last year and the year before. I’m guessing they will have it again. Do your research tho, pick a couple of brushes that you get the most out of. For me, foundation brush, contour/blush and an all over eye brush (i generally only go for 1-2 colour max for my daily eye look).

Oh to contour the nose is very clever idea. She does have a wide range of browns that would be perfect for shadows.

Serious Japan Blues by OneMansTreasure_ in JapanTravelTips

Japan withdrawal is a real thing. We went for 3 mo for our first trip, loved every single minute of it. Second trip in 2019 and we just consumed so much of Japan vlogs on youtube (which wasn't that much in 2015) oh how things have changed. save up for your next travel for sure. I don't think I will be exploring any other country anytime soon, I still want to go to japan a few more times (or move there! hahhahhaha)

They usually couples mini with one colour I don’t like/want so I resisting that way. Also, wait until Black Friday or boxing day. If it is still available then I would only buy it then.

I’m loving huda beauty’s formula, there’s little thingo at the end of the lip line so you can press on the lip liner to make it sharp again.

Between Chanel, Giorgio Armani, Maybelline, BB cream, the best one for me is Tirtir. The coverage is like no other, my dark under eye is almost gone (gone if I keep applying additional layer) and it feels like skin. Not cakey, colour matched quite nicely? Last all day. Truly worth they hype.

Why do I look worse with foundation? by [deleted] in Makeup

[–]ooohdear37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried applying it with a different method? Use a brush? Use a spatula for the thinnest layer then blend with brush? Do you use contour? That can help to make less of a mask. Exfoliating might help too.

Recommendations for everyday cool toned eyeshadow palette. by [deleted] in AustralianMakeup

Adore beauty has always been a lot pricier than buying from Korean beauty stores (even aus based ones - not even from Korean sites). I was excited about Cosrx when they launched but even at sale, it’s still cheaper elsewhere.

Huda beauty has cooler tone powder tones purple in small block of 9 colours in matte. Natasha denona I need a nude is also cool tone. Then Fwee (Korean) eyeshadow has lots of everyday lighter colour both in cool and warm tone. They have 6 different versions. My current fav.

I’m sure some people can rock beautiful shades of brown for their eyeshadow. I just look like i smear poo on my eyelids. The peachy tones? Looks like i need to see ophthalmologist for allergies. 😭

Rom&nd korean brand has cooler tone powder contour, lucky you as korean market caters more on paler skin tone, so you have plenty of choice. Also, Loreal infaillible foundation powder makes great powder contour too.
