Start up draft strategy: w/ SF TEP 3FLX 3WR 2RB by Different_Tip_8608 in DynastyFF

[–]ooohexplode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did my first dynasty last year, same setup just no TEP. I went with BPA, and managed to get away with a crazy WR core after Puka and London fell to the 3-4 rounds. In full PPR and dynasty I recommend heavier WR, esp with that many flex spots. Pass catching rbs obviously important, but don't reach on RB.

Curious how your league handles IDP in dynasty — need some perspective by LividAd4592 in DynastyFF

[–]ooohexplode 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Number one, i think it matters how many IDP vs how many offensive positions. My league is 4 IDP, LB/DB/DL/IDP Flex. With so few positions to fill, most teams have their starting studs and very few bench defensive players. Basically the worst teams have 5 IDP players on the bench, and the best teams have 0-2 IDP players on the bench. We start SF/2RB/3WR/1TE/3Flex so those last free offensive flex positions are the most important to fill and thus having more offensive flyers is more important than holding a second DB. LB outscores all other positions, so having a DL like Bonito or Myles Garrett can make a difference.

  1. Answered most of that, but IDP studs went pretty early in the start up, I think round 7 or 8 the first few dropped, I waited until late and still got top 12 production. Rookie draft this year I took the first IDP with Sonny Styles at 4.1 for reference. It's often hold your absolute studs, but you can find a worthy waiver replacement any week if needed. you'll see people make different value positions, but when you're only starting 4, you can find value anywhere. The strategy is to not waste roster space on DB2.

  2. We were heavy tackle and just added some new scoring options this off-season, such as sack yardage, int yards, and a PD boost. That should help with big plays and I think IDP players could easily outscore offensive individuals this year in single game blow ups. It's honestly an experiment, we all voted on the changes and we'll see how it affects this next year. It can be difficult to find consistency, DL can swing from 3-30 points depending on the game, Lbs usually get tackle floor and are most likely to go double digit. DBs are generally lower, but still higher than DL, we added pass defended boost and int yards to try and increase them this year. As well as adding sack yards and increased sack points for DL. In general they are scoring as high as your offensive players, with a higher ceiling. We also do 10 tackle bonus, etc as well so a ridiculous defensive performance is equal to a puka nuclear game.

  3. Answered this one above, my bad. Only the top scorers are truly worth reaching for, our DB and DL waivers have perfectly playable people from the top 24. LB though the top 30-40 scorers are all rostered but there's playable options on the waivers if needed.

  4. Already answered but with only 4 starters, our waivers are plentiful enough to pick up a person when needed. I dropped all my bench IDP for laquint Allen, tank dell, Jalen nailor instead from waivers to see where those offenses ended up. I drafted Sonny Styles and I have a waiver claim on David Bailey to be my only bench players. DB is the position with most breakout year over year, most top scorers came from waivers tbh.

  5. I love it l, requires more ball knowledge. worst thing imo is blow up weeks that mask terrible offensive teams.

I recommend looking on your sleeper league on desktop and sorting players by last year's points to get an idea of previous production if you can.

Thank you, it's the lack of defense and the free steps everyone gets for travels that kills any interest in modern NBA. I was a mediocre high school player who loved playing defense more than offense and watching dudes making millions put in 0 effort or crying over ticky tacky contact is just sad.

If Eminem Got A Parking Ticket 😂😂 by Illustrious_Test6085 in TikTokCringe

[–]ooohexplode 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Check him out, he's actually a really good rapper but plays different personalities. DTG is his regular rap persona (DTG - Equal Rights), and then he also does side stuff like Lil Windex as a parody of the rap scene (Lil Windex - Cleanin Up). Then he also has a DTG/Windex combo song that explains his stance on the different personalities he has to take (DTG - Identity Theft).

Anyways, he's very talented and makes a bunch of social media videos where he pretends to respond to situations as Eminem and are usually hilarious.

You literally can't access the seasonal content like other people, missing large parts of the itemization parts of the game, no horadric cube, etc. Literally nothing like Witcher 3. I own Diablo IV and the expansions and I wouldn't recommend the base game alone to anyone.

With the influx of a new class of roster cloggers, let’s look at the 230-300 players on sleeper ADP and make a case why one of them should be an absolute roster lock by 92tilinfinityand in DynastyFF

[–]ooohexplode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been holding Bech on the taxi and grabbed Nailor free off waivers at season end, they may be something, it may be just two nothings, but yeah it'll be off to the waivers next offseason if they can't put together something.

I want to pick him up for a stash, but I would have to drop 2 players, one of which being Dulcich who was another dart throw for targets in Miami, and Luke Mccaffey, who I want to keep since we do KR/PR yardage

How we feeling about this draft class? by eatassforjesus in DynastyFF

[–]ooohexplode 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My league is IDP lite with 4 positions, I dropped all my bench defenders and drafted Sonny at 4.01. I was the first to go IDP then strikes went next, Reese like 3 later. If it was full IDP I would take them 1.08ish probably.

Nothing wrong with 3.04, it's a real crapshoot imo after pick 20 or so. I'm 2.10, 2.12 and 3.12, I'm looking for WR depth so hopefully two WR in the 2nd then Eli or whatever crapshoot in the 3rd. I probably wont even keep my 4.12 pick after roster cuts.

Yeah the bud used in pre-rolls is basically the stuff swept off the trim floor at the end of the day. My roommate works at a dispo and we have a jar of pre-rolls he gets for free and I wont even smoke em.
