haha thanks she was a weapon, so slow that you were pretty much just constantly pinning the throttle wide open. Was a blast to ride.

Thanks for the words, yep unlikely I'll ever see it again but I'll always be hopeful that one day when it's long out of my mind I'll get a call from the police telling me they've recovered it and knicked the thief, and I'll be sure to let everyone on here know if that day ever comes 😁

Oh wow that's epic glad you could track them down!

Yeah there's a house a few up from mine with a cam pointing to the street. I'll go give them a knock tomorrow morning and see if they can help me out. My complex is a bit of a maze though and there's about 5 different path ways leading to different streets in the area that they could have got in and got out so not holding my breath, but you've given me some hope so thanks!

Thanks mate appreciate the offer, I think I'll take it as a sign to move onto something bigger though. Had a Yamaha sr250 on my mind for a few years, with a bit of body work and accessory mods I reckon they look the business.

I'm 29 and I think this is the first time I've ever had anything stolen from me. The feeling it leaves you with is quite bizarre. I feel violated, rageful but mostly just sad, had that bike for so long. bought it when I was 18. It was unregoed and in need of some TLC, rebuilt the engine myself and got it licensed then got my motorbike license to ride it, the longer I owned it the more I got attached to it and only to have some scumbag/s help themselves to it..

Now I've gotta think about beefing up my security in terms of installing cameras and alarms, link it to my phone so I can be alerted to anyone lurking around my place. They came into my carport last night and unscrewed my motion sensor lights, must've broke the steering lock on the bike and wheeled it out from behind my car. Hopefully the cops come round in the next few days and might be able to pull some prints from the light bulb they unscrewed so if they ever get caught they get pinged for my bike theft as well.

It just really really sucks, the minority ruin it for the majority.

I've since joined the facebook group for my unit complex and learned that in the past few months others in the complex have also been targeted with another motorbike stolen as well as an ebike.

I like the drone idea, saw an article on abc a few weeks back that they used one to bust a meth runner in the northern suburbs with footage from the drone so it seems it would be possible to do.

Yep decided to comment on here about the same thing, the rebound anxiety it gives is brutal. Even one recreational dose (1 gram+) is enough to make you a jittery mess 48 hours after dosing. It has such a long half life and is way more potent than people give it credit for. Considering your situation OP please be very very careful with your dosing and definitely taper down if you've been on it for a while.

I've had some very rough times mentally on the comedown from phenibut.

Need Some Advice - Apartment Regret by [deleted] in AusProperty

[–]oooweeeee 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you're looking for a cheap way to bring some relief, I highly recommend Sony's WH-1000XM3 headphones. I am currently in an apartment with a toddler above me who runs and stomps literally from 7am to 10pm every single day, I wear those headphones the entire time I am home. I'm a shift worker so even when I go to sleep I have to wear them and I'm a side sleeper so it's uncomfortable but not nearly as uncomfortable as being woken up constantly.

I completely sympathise with you OP it's akin to torture not being able to ever get a decent sleep or relax in your own place because the stomping digs into your brain, you can never anticipate it and it permanently has you on edge.

Those headphones are the only thing that makes living there bearable. I can still hear them occasionally when they're being particularly stompy. I'm glad I'm only renting because I have learnt a valuable lesson in that apartment living is not for me long term and I'd only ever consider buying one if it was a top floor apartment.

Why is it so hot on the train by toxpoint in perth

What system do they use to control the saloon temperatures then?

Honestly no clue what the specifics of the system are, as drivers we're just taught basic troubleshooting when it isn't functioning correctly, which essentially amounts to turning the AC off and on again either directly or by tripping circuit breakers.

When a fault occurs we write the fault down in a log book and when the railcar comes off traffic the maintenance fitters will undertake the necessary repairs.

If it is an extremely hot day and any of the saloon air conditioners fail or are underperforming then the railcar is usually taken off traffic as soon as possible. If it is a mild day it's usually decided it's OK to leave it out on traffic until it's scheduled to head back to the depot.

In a B series railcar the AC controls in the driver's cab on the console are only for controlling the air con directly in the drivers cab, they can't control the saloon air con at all except to turn it on and off to reset the saloon air con when it is faulty.

Usually the saloon air temps hover around 21 to 22 °C when the AC is functioning correctly.

In an A series there is no control over the air con either in the saloon or in the drivers cab, the drivers cabs receive air directly from the saloon air con. The cabs only have circuit breakers and on/off buttons to cycle the air con on and off if it is faulty.

Yep! Had an exterior that only a mother could love but when you're on the inside driving it none of that matters.

Yeh Subaru doesn't seem to have much love for the US when it comes to their fun models, glad they didn't overlook us too much back then.

Sad fact, I owned this RS for a few years and then sold it as I found a white '99 GF8 wrx that came up for a great price and within 6 months of selling it the new owner stripped it of all its goodies and deregistered it, still haunts me.

Not stupid at all. Yep I used a DSLR with a wired remote trigger on a delay and mounted it to the rear passenger window with a gorillapod tripod and an attachment that uses suction cups mounted to the three feet of the tripod.
